TWU Fall 2021 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.

here is little something I found after reading Fall 2020 post. I am not sure it is correct. But I hope it is good for reference
 
 

Spring 2018:

Dallas: 49.9 Avg GPA: 3.75 TEAS: 86.9

Houston: 44.1 Avg GPA: 3.72 TEAS: 87.2

Fall 2018:

Dallas: 54.4  Avg GPA: 3.78 TEAS: 93.4

Houston: 39.4 Avg GPA: 3.64 TEAS: 85.6

N & W: 48.3 Avg GPA: 3.77 TEAS: 87.6

Spring 2019:

Dallas: 51.9 Avg GPA: 3.6 TEAS: 84.6

Houston: 45.3 Avg GPA: 3.52 TEAS: 83.4

Fall 2019:

Dallas: 53.27 Avg GPA: TEAS:

** For fall 2020, I have read that s.o got 52-ish get accepted.

I’ve been there girl.. this is my 4th time applying.. I also don’t have the extra points. This time I applied to the N/W program and not the traditional. I got accepted for the Spring, but to Houston and not Dallas..

I applied to that program as well. Do you mind sharing your admission score?

Your points are really high!! You would definitely be accepted into the traditional program

I haven’t recalculated since last time but it’s like a 49

I understand. However, I retook my TEAS yesterday turn out my TEAS score was great! 93%. I highly recommend you retake it if you can to bring up score. I pump my grade up alot (if I don't miscalculate). I got 59 this time. So, I will try to get in Dallas trad w this score.

You should be able to get in with that score. I’ve seen in previous threads those getting accepted with lower scores.

Yes that's right, upload your 3 page TEAS score report onto the NursingCAS app, then submit your app when you are done with it, and also submit your transcripts to NursingCAS and TWU. 

Hey somehow my TEAS score report is 7 pages long. Is it supposed to be 3 page? How do I upload my TEAS score to NursingCas?

Hey Julia,

Do we have to send transcripts just to NursingCas or individually to NursingCas and to TWU as well. I'm confused. Also, I don't know how my TEAS score report ended up being 7 page like how do I make it to 3 page? PLEASE HELP!

Send it to both NursingCas and TWU Denton campus address. As for the TEAS, it should be 7 pages, but you only send the first 3 pages with your scores on them. The rest are correctional pages for personal use.
