TWU Fall 2021 Applicants

Published

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.

Hey guys!

So I am applying to TWU houston campus for Spring 2022, there isn't a thread for my applicant pool yet so I was wondering if anyone here can give me advice?

My stats are currently:

nursing GPA 3.8

TEAS 82.7

admission score 43.13

Do you guys think that is good enough to get into the houston campus for Spring or should I look into taking the TEAS again?? Also, what study tools did you guys use for the TEAS?

The criteria is changing in Spring, nobody knows what it will entail yet but it won’t be solely off of science GPA and TEAS anymore. I suggest you wait and see what is included in the new application as it will be more to a holistic application and not just based on scores

what OMG I did not even know that, thank you for telling me! Do you think they might require a personal statement like utmb?

If advisors determine that you are not eligible for admission, will you receive an email letting you know? Or will you just never receive an eligibility letter?

You will receive an email either way letting you know whether you’re eligible or ineligible. If there was something within your application (proposed error or what-not) that would make you ineligible, they will send you an email letting you know. I believe they allow you the opportunity to correct anything that may need to be fixed as a result, but I’m not sure. Hope this helps. ??

Hi! From the information I have gathered, this is what I think..

The eligibility email will be from sent to your email from the TWU Nursing advisors. I believe this should be sent to your personal email that you listed on your application.

You will also receive an email from NursingCas saying your application has been "verified"; this just means that NursingCas has verified your transcripts on your application, it is different from the actual eligibility letter you'll receive from TWU.

Hey Y'all,

Those who received eligibility email.

Did your NursingCAS status change from Verified to Eligible?
