Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:
Overall: 85.3%
Reading: 87.2%
Math: 96.9%
Science: 74.5%
English: 83.3%
I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.
I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.
Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?
Yeah, I think they do them in sections so it's not necessarily in alphabetical order. This is so nerve wracking lol!
Still haven't received mine yet either. However, I believe they send you an email regardless, stating either eligibility or ineligibility. If ineligible, you have 5 days to fix the issue is my understanding.
I wouldn't worry about not getting an eligibility email yet. I didn't make it into the spring session, however I was eligible. It took a month from the application deadline to receive the email. Deadline was August 15th and I received the eligibility email on September 13th.
Y'all will be waiting for several weeks since the application deadline was just 3 days ago ? Patience is a virtue! If you turned everything in to NursingCAS and your status changes to verified you will be fine and TWU will reach out to everyone to either confirm or deny eligibility. Don't worry ?
Someone currently in the program told me that including accomplishments, experience, awards, etc. increases your chances? But they only look at points though, correct?

I was told my an advisor that they don't look at that at all. It's only on NursingCAS because other schools use it for their programs. TWU looks strictly at scores.

They go only by scores and the excel spreadsheet score
