TWU Fall 2020 Applicants

Updated:   Published

Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:

Overall: 85.3%

Reading: 87.2%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 74.5%

English: 83.3%

I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.

I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.

Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

I received my eligibility email today! ???

Is there any way to know what the lowest point score was that had been accepted to the spring?
I’m sure I won’t make in this session with only a 40 but I’m still going to pray! Lol

Current J1 here! Cut off for Spring 20 was a 47 for Houston but people from the waitlist got in with scores as low as 43 from what I heard. You could try retaking your TEAS for a higher score or any classes you scored lower than a B in! Best of luck!

Do you happen to know the lowest points accepted from last fall? ??

Do you know the stats for those who got into the Weekend and Night program ? Is it less competitive than the Dallas traditional? Your help is greatly appreciated

No, they didn't post the stats. It's still very competitive, but the traditional program is more competitive bc of the amount of students who apply and if you attend TWU you get "extra points". They usually only take 30 students for N/W, however for my cohort they took 40. I believe everyone was in the low-mid 50's who were accepted.

I do not but I've heard Fall is usually more competitive but can't speak to that validity. Every application period is different though!
