Hello all!! Just wanted to start this feed for people apply for the August 2018 group to keep people posted on interviews and admissions! Hope everything is going great for everyone! :)
My interview was one-on-one last Wednesday the 17th, but only because the other two people interviewing for Louisiana sites rescheduled due to weather. My interview took the entirety of the whole hour. Not many personal questions at all (maybe 1-2) but predominantly clinical related questions. I was mentally prepared for a group interview but I think they had the chance to get to know me better with the one-on-one, which also meant more questioning (some of which I stumbled through a bit). Lol. So I think there are pros and cons to both types of interview.
KKH2017, I think we interviewed the same day, Jan.18th, 0900. I was the guy from Ohio, 2nd one in the office that morning. I had one of the solo interviews. I have no idea how or why some of us were group and some were solo. I had average stats, ccrn, 7 years critical care. I got in there and had a case scenario to go through, the CRNA hammered me with questions. I don't think I've ever been so anxious in my life. I flubbed some easy ones and they didn't really ask the hard pharmacology or neuromuscular blockade stuff I expected (the stuff I studied ) So, I'm in the same boat as the rest of you, anxiously awaiting that email!
I remember you!!! Pm me your contact info (email is cool if you don't feel comfortable) but yes I studied a lot of the drugs and major diseases/disorders bc that is what most people recommended ! Lol ummm yea- that didn't work lol!!! Anyways, I pray we can all be classmates soon so that we can laugh and put this behind us! My stats are 10 years ICU, CCRN, TNCC, 3.6 science gpa -but ugh that GRE lol I will not share lol. I had a group interview ..

Yeah I wasn't in a group just curious if anyone knew reasoning. Our group was asked quite a bit of in depth clinical questions related to our specialty. I applied for Dallas sites but did say I was open to other states
