Nursing Students SRNA

Hello all!! Just wanted to start this feed for people apply for the August 2018 group to keep people posted on interviews and admissions! Hope everything is going great for everyone! :)

Did you guys have a group interview? Or just two people you met on the day of your interview? I interview on Friday :)

We had group interviews with people we met that day. it was really hard to judge on how you did because it was not very personal. Though it did not feel like a direct competition with the two other candidates you are paired with. you are able to answer questions as an individual but at the same time it felt like a group effort in certain situations almost as if we were being considered as a whole. Still haven't heard back yet my stomach is in knots

That being said I interviewed at TCU a while back as well. Both are great programs but I felt like the Wesleyan professors we're much more personal or "real" and seems like they would be more online with the type of people I would want to work with. I hope I made the right choice ! Prayers for all who applied

What's the earliest we'll hear back? Has anyone gotten anything ? Also is this Friday last day of interviews?

I was told we would hear back next week. Last interview tomorrow at 4

Was anyone interviewed one on one rather than group interview? I was in a group just curious of why one over the other

I was in a group as well! What sites are you for?

I was in a one on one interview. I was wondering why they had a group of three candidates interview together while I was interviewing solo... My interview was very heavy on clinical questions based on my nursing specialty.

As far as clinical sites, I had listed #1 DFW, #2 Arkansas, and #3 Kansas but would be willing to go anywhere.

Hmmm... yea it's interesting on how they decided. Maybe they picked at random?

I was in a group. Maybe the ones with the better stats got the one on one interview?! I'm shooting for Louisiana sites and then Dfw

Yea seems like the one on one interview allows them a better chance to get to know you.

I had a one on one interview this past Wednesday. I too was curious as to why some people got interviewed in groups vs one on one. I selected Dallas and Fort Worth clinical sites. Good luck to everyone!

That's really weird that majority had group interview but few had solo. My guess would be that it was meant to be groups for everyone but then some people couldn't make it because of the weather and airports being shut down.
