TVCC Fall 2021

Hi. Is anyone here getting ready to apply to TVCC (Terrell Health Science Center) to start Fall 2021? I did not see a thread started, so I thought I would start one so we could help each other with any questions along the process and cheer each other on. If I did my math correctly I will be applying with 53-57 points depending on my final micro grade. Good luck everyone!

I'm thinking about applying but have heard and read mixed reviews on tvcc. I spoke with the program advisor and the program seems less competitive than other schools in the metro area so that's a plus. Im applying to el centro as well (as my first choice), but want to have another option to better my chances of starting a program Fall 2021. I haven't taken micro yet, but I currently stand at 46 points.

Hello! I just started my application process. I will be applying with 48 points. Is anyone here an international student?

Hey y'all! I am nearly done with Level 1. If y'all have any questions let me know. I don't know it all, but I can probably be of SOME help. Luckily, they have "mentors" now so you'll get a buddy that can help you more than I probably can, but that isn't until after you're accepted and classes begin.

You're likely not going to get your acceptance letter until the END of March. I know they say "by the end" usually but for us it was THE END. March 31st to be exact.

Hello!

Does anybody knows what's the minimum points that someone can be accepted? Is the current program online?

Thanks.

Anyone here doing the transitional program LVN- RN? Would like to see how many points everyone has for that program

I'm not sure about the minimum points, but last year it looks like people had to have at least 40 to get in.

The program is still in person as far as I know.

Hi yes ! I have questions! I’m looking Into transferring here for third semester. I am supposed to be doing my third this Spring but I have some things that have prevented me from doing so at my current program. My program has the exact same course numbers as this one and I have all the pre-reqs to go here. Who should I talk to about transferring? Also, my main question is what letter grade do you have to keep ? For example, I had to keep Atleast a 78 or above for my current program. Dosage calc requirements? I had to get a 100 with three attempts and also exit HESI ? What is your exit HESI requirements do you guys have one at the end of each semester and what do they require you to make? Thank you so much

Does anyone know how many people are selected for LVN-RN bridge program? 20-30? or less?

Hi!

I've applied to the ADN program and have submitted all transcripts. I've already gotten my blue card and I have 64 points. I'm excited to see what this year has in store for us!

@BCash2021 Congratulations!! I went through last year but ended up dropping out due to illness. It’s fast in the Summer but definitely doable.
