  1. Yay! Thank you and congrats to you as well!
  2. I just wanted to let those of you interested in the OR know that they are still making offers. I got an offer today.
  3. Yes, more than likely! Makes sense. Congrats on getting 2 offers!!
  4. Awesome! Congratulations! Yeah, the 3 year contract surprised me too when I saw that post because the job app site said 18 months. 3 years is not a deal-breaker for me though. Hopefully we hear something either way soon.
  5. Hi and congrats on your offer! I'm curious which ICU you got an offer for. I interviewed with the neuro ICU and the OR, but have not heard back from either one.
  6. Hi Regina. I'm in the program now. We are responsible for listening to lectures and learning the material before we come to class, then once we go to class we will do activities/case studies to help the info that we've already learned sink in. I really like the flipped classroom, but it is not for everyone. You have to be very comfortable and confident in teaching yourself the material.
  7. Thank you everyone! Great tips!
  8. What outside resources besides textbooks are you all planning on using (if at all)? Trying to decide what would be best and if it is worth spending a bit of extra money. Nursing.com, Lecturio,Youtube, Picmonic, RegisteredNurseRN.com?
  9. Thank you! I signed up for the Math class. Appreciate your help.
  10. So if you fail the pre A&P test at orientation, do you have to pass the post A&P test that they give you before the Fall semester nursing classes start in order to remain in the program? There is a bit of confusion in regards to this for the incoming nursing students. I know everyone who failed the A&P class has to take the A&P refresher as remediation, but what happens if you fail the second or post A&P test? Thanks for your help ?
  11. I think I actually prefer a flipped approach. I do better learning material on my own, then going into hands on after I learn. Still a bit nervous though.
  12. Did you ever get any guidance on this? I'm nervous about the test too.
  13. Awesome! I have picmonic and the book you mentioned, so I'll dust it off and give the app and book a whirl. Thanks!
  14. Hey y'all. Me again. Orientation is coming up and it has been nearly a year since I've taken A&P. What would you all recommend I brush up on before the test at orientation?
  15. Congrats!
