I've had several teachers send kids up for vision screens, saying the student has been squinting and having trouble reading.
UMMM....
Could it possibly be because NONE of the classrooms in my school keep their lights on?!?
They say it's to help calm the students. Even in the cafeteria.
I'm sorry but maybe your kid is squinting because the only source of light they have to read by is the small amount coming through the window. Not even a lamp in a lot of the rooms.
I was always taught (by my Momma, not nursing school) that reading in the dark is bad on your eyes.
Does anyone else's school do this?
(Admins please do not put on Facebook :))

We can also argue they are both creations of man.
But lets not.
