What is typical at your facility for tuition reimbursement?

My facility has a really good program, but I think they are in the minority. My friends that are in healthcare at other hospitals seem to be getting what was available when I was in college in the mid-90s -- somewhere in ths $2000/year range.

What do you get and what type of facility is it offered though (hospital, LTC, home care agency, etc.)? Do you get nothing?

My home care agency requires me to take a course that I have already taken and they refuse to pay for it, just like they refuse to pay overtime when I am in a position where I can't abandon my patient when I am not relieved on time.

at most places I've found, it's usually somewhere between $2000-$3000 per year. Some add that you owe them an additional 6mos-1yr for each disbursement.

My hospital pays 3,000.00$ for full-time employees. I work per diem, so I don't get anything.

I get $3,000/yr towards anything that relates to a career within the organization. I just have to remain employed for 6 months after receiving my last check. We submit our invoice/transcript showing we passed with a B and they refund us the amount in our next paycheck. So for me, nursing school will be free.

My old job was $1600/yr. - LTC. My new job is $3,000k/yr - hospital.

So, is there a lifetime cap? Or can you just keep taking money annually as long as you want to?

my school pay up to 18 credits a year in college. it doesn't matter the cost, its the amount of credits.. which is great!!!

3000/year, if it goes over 3000, to fill-out a commitment form to stay for 6 more months. basically, 100%...

I work at a hospital and they give $2000 reimbursement which is good since I barely get financial aid!!!

as long as you have been employed at my hospital for at least 6 months, they will pay $5000 per year in tuition reimbursement. if your tuition goes over that, there is a foundation that you apply to that will help you pay or offset the rest.
