$10,000 tuition reimbursment per year for nurses or any staff to achieve a nursing college degree.
$3,000 tuition reimbursement for all other healthcare related college education. Need to stay on-board as staff one year per yr of tuition reimbursed.
I only received $2,000/yr reimbursement in 79-82 so that's quite an improvement.
I get 100% tuition advancement, which means that they pay the school directly, I don't have to front any money at all (except for books/fees/non-tuition expenses). The company will pay for any baccalaureate degree (does not have to be job related), but any advanced degrees need to be related to something you could do there, although not necessarily in your current position.
Hi Enid,
I'm starting an RN to MSN program through UoP in June... I'm very excited about it. There are so many people that don't take advantage of the awesome educational benefit we have.
I should mention that this is an RN only benefit, all other staff members have tuition reimbursement, but its still a good deal.
I work here. I actually work with some nurses from PA. Where in the state are you?

I live in S.central PA about 15 miles from the MD line. I used to work in Baltimore and Towson too. My old employer gives $5K for tuition. My current one only $2500/yr. I want to go for Perinatal Clin Spec/Educator, so I guess I wouldn't be eligible. That is indeed an awsome benefit. Thanks a lot for your reply.
Anyone work for a great employer that offers good tuition reimbursement for employees? I'd like to know exactly where they are and how much they will pay for. It seems like some places will pay tons and others very little, but you never know until you start since HR dances around the issue so well...
what about taking the 'life time learning credit' on your taxes too??
