Tweety that is odd that you got a bill the 2nd time but not the 1st
NJ22 hope the acupuncture helps
Stars agree on chocolate covered cherries, they are almost too sweet
Amo I have seen posts on facebook so he is still active there at least
Ado bread baking machines are a huge labor saver, I think doing it by hand requires close to 4 hours total
Hi Dianah
Day 1 of new software was stressful, as expected, though not horrible, which was kinda nice. Progress is slow but I think I'm getting the hang of it, and I did manage to get everything done without having to stay late. Although a very short lunch due to an unexpected meeting
Bible study after work and exercised
Hoping for a smoother Day 2 of the new system. Nothing really going on after work
Thinking ahead, might take a day off in March, as no holidays for us until Memorial Day. Might head to Madison at the end of April, have been checking my schedule and hotel prices. Am surprised how much hotel prices vary from weekend to weekend
Going to be a bit warmer, upper 30s today and lower 50s by tomorrow
Just dropping in to say hello!
Hi, @Tweety
Insurance, a necessary evil, is a dirty word. Then, going to the next level ... adding SS. ?
Agree, a bread machine is wonderful. I haven't used mine lately. I don't seem to be able to successfully bake bread in the Winter months. It always fails to rise like it should.
Baking chicken and yes, will take out a couple of my homemade yeast rolls, steam some cauliflower and broccoli for supper.
Just another day here pretty much. Except I will say the sunshine is magnificent! If I were a dog, I'd be rolling around in a sandy spot in the sun right now.
Hope all who come are having a good day.
sirl or dianah - blips in your new system alert!
1 - don't see how to contact you guys thru normal routes. Then you posted here ...
2 - the little bell' icon on the top allnurses yellow bar doesn't show any other options, like 'manage account' or 'email'.
3 - that panel on the left side was very helpful & seemed pretty much inclusive. Miss it.
4 - reaching Lori???
5 - have a suggestion for 2 new rooms but can't figure where/how to suggest it.
Hello @amoLucia
Quote1 - don't see how to contact you guys thru normal routes. Then you posted here ...
Scroll to the bottom of any page and click CONTACT US on the far left. If you are logged in to your account, it will take you to the private ADMIN HELP DESK where you can start a ticket to communicate with the Admins.
Quote2 - the little bell' icon on the top allnurses yellow bar doesn't show any other options, like 'manage account' or 'email'.
When you click the bell, click NOTIFICATION SETTINGS on upper right:
When that page loads, click ACCOUNT OPTIONS. That will open a menu of items you can change/edit:
Quote3 - that panel on the left side was very helpful & seemed pretty much inclusive. Miss it.
I kinda miss it, too. I'll get used to it though. You will, too. ?
Use the menu at the top of any page to locate areas of the site:
Nurses - Students - World - Trending - Articles
Just start clicking and you'll get used to things; how to find everything.
One thing that I like is the icon to find the Breakroom Clubs. The little "3 people chat" icon in upper right of any page next to the BELL icon:
Quote5 - have a suggestion for 2 new rooms but can't figure where/how to suggest it.
You can either go to the Help Desk to privately communicate with the Admins or go to SITE FEEDBACK and start a new thread and post your suggestion(s).
4 minutes ago, amoLucia said:Hey! Just found that little icon next to 'latest content'. Did you just add it? Sneaky sneaky.
I also meant Nurse Beth, but where did Lori go? I had a question some time back.
No, I didn't add it. LOL! (I am sneaky, however HAHAHA).
Ya done good finding it, @amoLucia ?
To find Nurse Beth, click NURSES at the top of any page, then scroll to: Ask Nurse Beth: Career Advice.
I haven't seen Lori around lately ... ??
Just got back from running around. Bicycled, went to dealership to order running boards for new pickup, got gas, feed store for dog food, then delivered it to MIL, then acupuncture.
The acupuncturist was very patient with me venting about how none of the prescribed exercises I have been doing for the past year and a half have seemed to be doing any good. He was quite diplomatic about not criticizing the PT I saw. He does seem to be concentrating on the actual site of pain--and less on strengthening glutes.
I do love bread, but it doesn't love me. My bread intake is a slice of whole grain with breakfast. I used to make the most wonderful honey whole wheat, and potato bread. The best part was the aroma, and now I don't think I could smell the yeast.
Tweety, that is nice that your BIL has found someone that he is happy with. And that he has you to watch his dog. I should think that boarding greyhounds in kennels would be quite stressful for them.
Hi Joe. I had no doubt that you would pick up the new system quickly. I agree, hotel prices are all over the place. I've had good luck with Hotels.com.
Hullo, to everyone else. I hope your day is going smooth with just the right amount of excitement.
Hello all!
Busy day at work. I was assigned to the Stress Lab but as no one was doing Case Management, I ended up putting out several fires there. Our patients in the Stress Lab did well, so that's good! I left a few tasks for my office partner, for tomorrow. I am assigned to the Stress Lab tomorrow and Thursday.
I have Monday off for the holiday, work Tues and Wed, then am off Thurs through the next Monday, as we will be attending two festivals in Arizona. Will be meeting up with several bluegrass/jamming friends we haven't seen in a few years, that will be the best! Weather should be good.
I used to bake bread. Then got a bread machine and used it for awhile. It's put away somewhere, haven't baked bread in many years.
Siri, thanks for the tips for how to find things!
Have a good evening!

Good morning!
J22, that menu sounds delish.
Insurance can be frustrating a year ago with the same insurance I had a $10 copay for my labs. Six months ago I had the same copay then got a bill a month later for over $100. Same with my doctor a year ago I paid zero, and six months ago paid zero and got a bill for over $100. I know I am in a high copay plan because of my Health Savings Account which I use to pay for it but why the difference? I know if I call and ask it will be "it's what the computer says". I actually was surprised a year ago to pay so little and not surprised by the higher bills six months later. It's all good because my employer matches my contributions to my savings up to $500 and so far I've been spending their money for the copays, not mine.
Off today. Will go to yoga, mop the floors and do laundry and cook like a normal Tuesday. Brother in law will come pick up his dog late in the day. He sent some pics of him and his new girlfriend in Mt. Dora, Florida for Valentines Day. She's very pretty and seems just a few years younger. He went through a lot with my drug addicted bipolar sister and I'm happy for him.
Hope everyone has a good day.
