Can Anyone give me a link to what a drug card would look like, I am trying to ingest as much information into my system before my classes start in the fall. Thank you so much for your help and understanding. Just want to be one step ahead of the game. Thank you a very anxious and nervous nursing student.:bowingpur

hi

i very rarely used flashcards in nursing school, except for maybe lab values, and some medications. but i am posting a link to a website i found on this allnurses website. i used it briefly but it seems great. hope it helps you.

good luck in nursing school. i would also recommend you get a nclex book to follow along with lecture topics. it will help tremendously. :)

TWO WORDS.....MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY!!! Find a book from your local library that covers anatomy w/ pictures and a pronunciation guide. Knowing correct pronunciation of medical terminology will boost your self confidence in a big way. You will feel more comfortable asking questions and will learn how to spell these words automatically. Some books I used when I taught even had a set of pull-out flash cards in the back. Good Luck to you! :smokin:

I would add an NCLEX question type book to your pre-nursing reading. There are few out there that actually explain how to understand the NCLEX type questions and answer them correctly. That helped me out bunches. Also, I would take some of your time to search for scholarships/grants etc if you are in need of financial aide. There are many out there but you have to take the time to find them, keep track of them (when they are due, what you need, etc) and apply. Some scholarships that I found the deadline had passed, but I kept a note of when it would come around next year and applied. Being ahead of the game helped immensely.

good luck.
