Trying for Gwinnett Tech Fall 2013

So I am trying to get into gwinnett techs fall of 2013 class and i just wanted to start a forum for us to support each other and for info. I still have a couple pre reqs to take but im hoping to do well! Good luck everyone

I remember hearing that about last year, just nervous! But I am trying to keep my hopes up but not too much lol

My gpa is a 3.85 and Kaplan score of 76. Does anyone know how that ranks? Also, if anyone else wants to share their gpa and Kaplan ...we can just all compare !

Well with the way that GTC calculates GPA I think I am around a 3.1 and I got an 81% on the Kaplan. I do not anticipate being accepted.

As far as you.... they said the average GPA/Kaplan of last years class was 3.5/77%. I think you have a good shot :)

I don't anticipate being accepted either. I have a 3.94 GPA, but got a 73% on Kaplan. Oh well.

I think you are fine. Your GPA far outweighs your Kaplan!! Think positive thoughts :)

I have a 4.0 GPA and made 69 on kaplan last year but didn't make it. There were applicants that had less than a 4.0 GPA, scored 75 or less on kaplan and still made it. If you are a student that took a lot of credit hours per quarter/semester and ended up with a little less than a perfect GPA, and scored a mark in the 70s, I think you still stand a better chance than someone with a 4.0 that scored around the same mark but took less credits than you did. You can never really tell until they start making changes in our students accounts from pre-nursing to nursing so until then let's keep hope alive.:yes:

I took the Kaplan on the 21st and I made a 75; and I have a 3.9 GPA. I am so nervous and cant hardly wait til the middle of April!!

I have a 3.86 GPA and I made an 84 on the Kaplan. Counting down the days.. Good luck to everyone.
