Trying to decide between ohio univ. Or wgu for rn to bsn

Trying to decide between Ohio Univ or WGU for RN to BSN. Since they are both accredidited, price and length of time to compete are a factor. Any opinions please help?? Anybody have anything positive or negative to say about either???

Me too, i started my BSN less than 1 month after NCLEX, i love WGU but must say just found out i referred a friend andvit does matters which degree you have from EC either ASN which most pre-reqs are waived or ASS which no pre-reqs are waived, was so bummed for my friend.

Do you mean AAS? lol....not being sarcastic just confused :)

LOL yeah I think she meant "AAS". Thinking ack before I applied to EC I was thinking, that maybe I should have gone for the AAS becuase sincce there were free electives I could have taken anything I wanted basically, without the Arts and Science focus. But after my initial eval, since I have basically everything to do, the automatically put me in the ASN upon enrollment.

Now I am so grateful, for this now. I really think the school should let incoming students know that the AAS, will be looked at as a "technical" degree, so even thought it is pretty much the same to us, schools look at it differently, and it may affect future opportunities.

Ok, thanks....just wanted to make sure. At first I was like, "Wait a minute, what is this degree now??" LOL....but yes, I am glad they automatically put me in the ASN degree as well :)

I hear statistics is waived if you have an ASN. Go to their website for more info, and request even more info. An enrollment counselor will be glad to assist you with any further questions/concerns. Mine has been very helpful so far, and I'm not even enrolled yet, let alone finished with my ASN!
