Trump claims victory with many states still undeclared, hints at possible Supreme Court case

Quote

President Trump declared victory in multiple key battleground states early Wednesday, even though it remained unclear who had the votes to win, as Trump hinted the White House would push the Supreme Court to rule over disputed ballots, warning that a “very sad group of people” was trying to “disenfranchise” voters.

"

This is a fraud on the American public. This is an embarrassment on our country,” Trump said, referring to the votes not being called in key states.

“We were getting ready to win the election, frankly, we did win this election,” Trump said, adding that he wanted to “ensure the integrity” of the vote, and ensure the law is “used in a proper manner.”

“We’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court,” Trump said. “We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4:00 in the morning and add them to the list.”

Yes he is. There is nothing fraudulent about counting all the votes cast. That’s how things are done in democracies and it’s how it’s normally been done in the U.S. during previous elections. I’m sure that they’ve never had all the votes counted by the time the polling locations close on election day, so of course they have to keep on counting until they’re done

The real fraud on the American people would be to stop the counting, and just tossing the millions of votes that they haven’t finished counting.

I think it’s quite telling that he says that they’ll be going to the Supreme Court. First of all, I assume they have to work their way through a couple of lower courts first. And he must be assuming that he’ll lose since he’s expecting it to go all the way to the top court. I wonder if he doesn’t in his mind consider them his personal fixers?

I’m not surprised that he did this since he’s been pushing this voter fraud conspiracy all along. It’s so easy to become numb to the constant barrage of norm breaking and attacks on institutions, but I think it’s vital to recognize that what he’s doing is supremely dangerous. A President in a free society does not make completely unfounded claims that directly question the legitimacy of elections. They just don’t.

But Trump isn't a leader in a free society, he's a corrupt despot pushing a fascist agenda. It would seem that a significant portion of the population doesn't understand what freedom really entails.

Trump has advertised his corrupt plan and intentions.  There are no surprises in his strategy.  The surprises are all found in the number of people who will vote for ignorance and conspiracy mongers. Q will be well represented in the House.

European election observers decry Trump’s ‘baseless allegations’ of voter fraud

Quote

A group of international election observers on Wednesday praised the U.S. vote as orderly but condemned President Trump’s “baseless allegations” of fraudulent ballot counts and his suggestion that the tally be stopped midstream, saying he had undermined public confidence in democratic institutions.
“Nobody — no politician, no elected official, nobody — should limit the people’s right to vote,” said Michael Georg Link, a member of the German parliament who led the lawmakers sent by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to observe a U.S. election for the ninth time. “Coming after such a highly dynamic campaign, making sure that every vote is counted is a fundamental obligation of all branches of government. Baseless allegations of systematic deficiencies, notably by the incumbent president, including on election night, harm public trust in democratic institutions.”
At the invitation of the State Department, the OSCE sent 100 observers to more than 30 states to watch the vote. The preliminary findings they released Wednesday will be followed by a more comprehensive report early next year from the election monitoring branch of the OSCE.

“We feel that allegations of systemic wrongdoing in these elections have no solid ground,” she said. “The system has held up well.”
The observers reserved their harshest criticism for Trump’s remarks and his conduct. In releasing the report, Gacek said she was impressed by the high voter turnout “despite deliberate attempts by the incumbent president to weaken confidence in the election process.”
The report lambasted Trump’s “discriminatory and pejorative” statements against women and others and charged that he had misused his position.
“The distinction between state and party activities was not always respected, as the incumbent president repeatedly used his official capacity for political advantage,” it said.

Lets hope we can get past this guy.

Trumps legal team held a press conference to announce their plans to pursue legal remedy to Trump's loss.  It seemed like Giuliani maybe learned that the counts reflect a Biden win during that event.

The curious factor was the location of the event.  Security? Interstate access? Last minute availability?

Four seasons total landscaping is a business located in the Tacony section of NE Philadelphia. Located  just off the Cottman St. exit of I95 + Street Road is first street intersection. It's nearby one of my favorite barbeque joints, Sweet Lucys. My Mom went to HS nearby  + Grandmother lived 5 min from there -spent 20 + years in that area.

Rudy Guliani has been in that area few times recently stumping with the Philly GOP on Columbus Day. That rally was set for South Philadelphia but moved due to COVID indoor restrictions to NE Philly GOP headquarters Cottom Ave location  few blocks away so expect someone from that rally offered landscaping location..
