I got accepted the first time I applied. I do have a 4.0 in all my pre-reqs and all my co-reqs. And I have taken advanced science classes and already have a bachelors degree. I don't think it's very difficult to get in if you do the work and get good grades. The only thing to keep in mind...they are now having a centralized program...where you apply to the City Colleges of Chicago and if you are accepted...they decide which program you enter (ie. Truman, Daley, Malcolm X). You will only get an invitation to one of the schools and if you accept that is where you go. If you decline, your seat will be given to someone else.
Hey nursingstudent515, have you submitted your health packet yet? I'm about to give mine and I'm just a little scared about my uncomplete seasonal H1N1 shot

I'm pretty sure the program only starts once a year...in the fall. Deadline is usually February 1st of that year. You have to take a Compass Reading test and score 90 or higher on it. It is not timed...I got a 99. I honestly felt like I could have scored over a 90 when I was in 6th grade and I have to read slow to comprehend what I'm reading. That being said...I stressed over the test beforehand for NOTHING. I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes.
