Trinity Valley Community College Fall 2015

I currently attend TVCC and plan on applying Dec 1 , 2015 which the only day to apply. I took the HESI and you only have to pass the MATH, Reading, and Grammar I have to retake it also. They only accepted 25% of ADN and 75% of BSN so advisor will tell you to take more classes for a better chance. they go off a point system, and 21 is at the top. I got screwed this semester in A&P 2 by a new professor, so I have to retake it. But most professor at TVCC are really helpful and easy.

I will be considering TVCC as a second choice if I dont get into El Centro ADN program........

ramiaaah, I was just wondering, what professor did you take that you got screwed over? And what new professor did you end up taking? What was the outcome? Nervous about the science professors there.

Hello everyone! I know I'm many months late to this post but I can't seem to find any other posts regarding TVCC so here I am!

I'm almost done with all my prereqs and I'm planning on taking A&P II and Micro at TVCC.

I'm applying for Dec 1, 2015 as well. Right now I'm finishing up and going to be taking science courses (AP I & II) in the summer and finishing up the rest of my prereqs this fall (including Micro). I have yet to take the HESI but I remember the advisor there told me the earliest so far to take it is in August, so I might take my first attempt and test then.

Compared to El Centro, TVCC has an easier application process from the get-go. I considered El Centro at one point, but I'm starting to prefer TVCC's program. I have a co-worker who is in the program and she absolutely loves it; while her friend hates the program at El Centro.

I just got accepted to ECC Fall 2015 program at North Lake.

So, anybody applying this December?? I would love to hear from anybody applying! I figured I would try and bump up this thread. I have so many questions and would like to know the lowest amount of points people typically can get to get accepted to the RN BSN program. :)

mkat123 I applied on Dec 1. Now, like yourself I'm sure, I'm anxiously awaiting a reply. I received a call from the advisor the first week of December bc I forgot to submit one of my transcripts, but I sent them the following day and haven't heard back... I have no idea how many points I applied with. For me, the most frustrating part of all of this has been the application process and not the classes themselves. Getting my shot records taken care of are on my "To Do" list for this month... Good Luck!
