i am not sure how to get to the travel forum.

help. and thanks.

i like overtime. i will beworking at washoe. familiar?

I do not know that facility but your Agency should know if OT is available and what the terms are. If you really want to work, say 4 12's, then you could have that (sometimes) written into the contract.

See my signature? Below my signature, are links to the Forums I Moderate. One of them is the Travel Nursing Forum. Also, at the top of this page (not the very top) but where you see the links that brought you to this page there are links for this conversation and to the Travel Nursing Forum (here where we are right now). Run your mouse over the link and you will see a hand when ou are over the link; go ahead and click it and you will be "taken" to that page.

Here is another link, to the Forum Help area, here on AllNurses. It takes a little getting used to, in navigating the site, like your skills as a nurse, practice, practice, and practice ;)

Now, get your cup, get comfortable, and plan to visit often. You have just entered the worlds best Nurses website ;)

Travel nursing was one of the best experiences I have had in nursing. You learn so much and meet great people. Good luck and have fun!!

(P.S. The Travel Nurse forum has lots of useful topics so search around!)

Hello all, I am new to the community. I am on my fourth travel assignment, the last two have been nightmares. My contract is up in July and I plan to take a couple of weeks off before taking another assignment. I am not sure where I want to go next, I love the mountains and the beach and would like to be somewhere near a ski resort this winter. Any suggestions? I am looking for something paying good money with good benefits. Maybe Norther n CA, Wyoming, Oregon, Montano. Or possibly the east coast, even though it will be prime Hurricane weather. I would appreciate any areas that you may have worked or know someone who did that actually liked their job to some degree.

Thanks, islandcruiser

Oh, I have had numerous friends that worked at Washoe in NV and loved it!
