When you go through nursing school you hear about the horrors and perks of certain types of nursing. One type in particular that gets especially good reviews is traveling nursing. I have done some research on the subject, and seem to only see positive ratings. I was hoping to get an insider's opinion of the ups and downs of traveling nursing so we can have a more realistic idea of what it is really like. For example, the benefit package, the hourly wage, the difficulties with traveling, the different charting systems, and the main difference between stationary nursing and traveling nursing. If anyone has any information, please enlighten me! Thank you!
