FHM = fetal heart monitoring

CEN = Certified Emergency Nurse

Chemo = (as far as I know) not an acronym, but just a "nickname" for chemotherapy

Can't help you with NRP

Doctor Guazzo,

You don't need all of these certifications to work in the US. Are you looking to come here to work? Usually the 2 main tests to pass to be able to work here are:

1. TOEFL= test of english as a foreign language. This tests your English language competency.

2. NCLEX= our national licensing exam.

The other certfications you asked about can usually be obtained on the job and are dependent on what area/specialty you are working in.

Specializes in Level III NICU.

NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Yes, I'm planning to move to USA to work.

Thanks for the help.

Specializes in Med-Surg, Psych.

Website for info on the NCLEX exam:

https://www.ncsbn.org

Specializes in ED, ICU, PACU.

NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Edited: Oops, didn't see that it was already answered

I believe that the RNC may be Register Nurse Clinician (haven't checked to see if anyone else answered you on this one)
