transferring state lisence from IL to WA

I'm looking to move out to Washington from Illinios within the next year hopefully. I need more information on what I need to do to get my license switched over to Washington, and how to do it. Anyone got some info?

You need to contact the Washington State Board of Nursing in Olympia. They will tell you what you need to know.

You just need to apply for License By Endorsement. You will continue to hold the Illinois license until it expires if you do not renew it. You do not transfer a license, but get an additional license in the new state.

Just follow the instructions for the requirements for WA.

Getting my Washington licence by endorsement took about 6 weeks, not to bad a process. Good luck to you!
