Who's applying? I'm so nervous!

I was told to just send the nursing app in and apply to the university when it opens in august!

I emailed the dean of the university and thats what he said and the nursing dean replied as well to confirm it.

I don't know. I'm broke so I feel like if either school will help me out money wise...I will end up there. Theyre both great programs so itll work out either way I think.

I don't know if my stats are good enough for Towson though. I only got into UMD because I go to college park lol

I still don't see the transfer application on the TU website. Am I missing something?

@afowler77 I just got on and I can't find it either. Does anyone have a clue on what kind of application it is? Like, if it is one where we are required to turn in a transcript and all, or if there is one specifically for prospective nursing students. I may just contact Brook about this later, but if anyone knows, please share!

I applied to the University in June to make sure I got my acceptance letter before the nursing school application deadline. I'm not home to check out online what the website looks like now compared to June, but on the Transfer Admissions page I did the online application. You definitely have to send in separate transcripts to the University.

last day for all spring applicants, hope ur applications re in guys, wish everyone luck!

For some reason I feel like I forgot some part of the application process/didn't turn in everything, but I think it's just nerves. ?

I literally checked to see if all of my application materials were in place at least 10 times before I mailed it. And I am still worried it is definitely nerves at this point

Did u guys notice that the deadline has been extended till the 2nd of september?

Definitely didn't notice that!? I wonder if that pushes the acceptance letter time-frame ahead too?

I'm hoping anyone has any experience with this situation: so I applied as a transfer student to Towson in June to have my acceptance letter before the nursing school application deadline, I was accepted to Towson Spring 2015 (general university app not the nursing program of course) but I am required to send in the $300 seat fee and contract by August 29th. I just called to see if that could be postponed since I won't find out if I actually got into the Towson Hagerstown Nursing program that I applied to until October, they said I had to pay the seat fee by August 29th anyway. So if I don't get into the nursing program I'm out 300 bucks that I really don't need to be throwing around. This backward system sucks. What would you all do?

Have you applied to any other programs? Honestly, in my experience, the sad (and expensive) reality, is that you have to go ahead and accept, just in case. I lost $400 to UMSON last spring. My word of caution to everyone, is that many schools have a stipulation that, if accepted and you pay the fee, you must withdraw other applications from other schools. I don't think this would be the case for Towson University (not the nursing school) but just something for everyone to keep in mind. Borrow the money if you have to, and pay the fee. This keeps your options open.

During the application process, I saw that the application must be postmarked by Aug. 15 and that all supplemental materials were due by Sept. 1 (Labor Day.) That was stated on the actual application. Where did you see the Sept. 2 deadline? And is that the application deadline or the deadline for supplemental materials?

I emailed Admissions again, and they said the undergrad/transfer application would be available again in September.
