Touro College Nursing Program

Hello,

My name is Stephanie and I was recently accepted into the nursing program at Touro college in Brooklyn, NY. I will be going in as a transfer student since I have a degree in Biology. The reason why I'm here is because I wanted to know if anyone had any information on the program. I have done a lot research, but the program itself is still pretty new and I wanted to know a little bit more about the program at this school and about other people's experiences. Thank you.

Hey, I haven't yet. I applied in the beginning of March, so I'm giving a month for the whole thing. I applied for LIU and St. Francis and Montefiore so waiting on them as well. Lots of anxiety lol and didn't you sign up for your spot already ?

oh yeah it will take a while for them to get back to you. Yes I paid my deposit and going to get my physical done. Theres so much to do!

are you supposed to send in your online application before or after you take the nln??

Before. Then they will allow you to take the Nln.

Your application won't be processed by the admission's department without all the material they require. So doesn't really matter as long they will be getting the results.

They told me I couldn't take the Nln until my application was in.

I just got my accepetance letter lol... and I'm really confused because I got accepted at LIU too

LIU gave me a big scholarship for transfer students like 9,500 some comes to almost the same price than Touro. But I heard LIU it's a very hard program and a lot of people drop out. So I feel that touro is a little more intimate and they can help you go through the program. At least that's what I felt when I went there. And sucks that they just send the financial aid information after you pay the deposit, what do you think ?

So I already sent the deposit and now getting my immunization done w PCP. Did you receive any email about financial aid or orientation appointments ? and if you did, anything in special ?
