Touro College Nursing Program

Hello,

My name is Stephanie and I was recently accepted into the nursing program at Touro college in Brooklyn, NY. I will be going in as a transfer student since I have a degree in Biology. The reason why I'm here is because I wanted to know if anyone had any information on the program. I have done a lot research, but the program itself is still pretty new and I wanted to know a little bit more about the program at this school and about other people's experiences. Thank you.

is it easy to find a job as Touro college nursing graduate?

I'm very concern about the fact that the school is not accredited by NLN or CCNE.

The school is accredited by both. Personally I don't know anyone that graduated from the nursing program there.

Well, I just double checked the list of NLN members, and Touro is not on the list.

Neither is Molloy College and they have the #1 nursing program in Ny. I think it's better to call the school. Before I applied I checked and I do believe it is.

hi, i'm planning to apply this Fall any tips on how to ACE the NLN?

@Elizabeth that NLN score is a fraud. It really doesn't mean much. They still choose who they want. The only way to Ace it is by studying hard, especially the science section. The English is not bad, math is basic.

Hi I'm starting this program in the fall of 17 and was wondering if anyone could tell me where the clinical sites are and what I should know right before I start the program
