Touro College Nursing Program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

My name is Stephanie and I was recently accepted into the nursing program at Touro college in Brooklyn, NY. I will be going in as a transfer student since I have a degree in Biology. The reason why I'm here is because I wanted to know if anyone had any information on the program. I have done a lot research, but the program itself is still pretty new and I wanted to know a little bit more about the program at this school and about other people's experiences. Thank you.

Yes they sent me a longgg email.

Haven't gotten a chance to really look over it I believe it's in August.

Hello, I'm new here. I'm interested in applying to the nursing program at Touro. Can anyone give me info about it please? I know the NLN exam must be done, are the students allowed to use calculators? Is there physics etc? Anything would help. Thanks

Just check the NLN website you will find out what is in there. You just buy the book to study and yes, has the whole science combo. Physics, chemistry, biology, earth biology and anatomy. Besides the math and English parts and not calculate is allowed. Just go on the search on this blog and type nln test I'm sure you will find out more detailed forums about it.

Hey! I just got my acceptance letter yesterday! I scored a 112 on the NLN, but I also applied to PBISN. Tough decision to make....any ideas? PBISN definitely has better clinical placements......

They are both small schools with accreditation and good reviews by former students.

If I was you I would go to PBISN its cheaper. And not clínical on Sundays.

Touro has Friday option I was just told. PBISN it would be RN....not BSN.

As far as I know touro has clinicals on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. You always can do the BSN in SUNY or Cuny school and save $20k because the RN-BSN route isn't competitive as generic or accelerate BSN. Just saying but it's up to you.

anybody is applying financial aid or student loans? i never applied before so wondering what would be a good choice for me since the tuition is 10k+

Does anyone know the passing score that they require?

Hey guys!

just got into the second bachelors degree super excited. I'm also looking for info. Can't wait for orientation. Super excited because I had a lousy gpa but an insane NLN score and didn't think I'd get in but I did!
