Took the test today!!

Hi everyone. Took the test today. It was the worse test ever. I felt like I was doing half way decent but the computer just kept going and going. It finally shut off at 210. I don't know how to take it. Anyone have any ideas?? This wait is going to be so hard!

the number doesnt count in predicting whether u passed or not.. so just hang in there .. some people end in like weird numbers and pass so dont lose hope :nuke::nuke::nuke:

good luck pddk87!!! i know what you are feeling right now as i was in your shoes 48 hours ago.

all you can do now is wait. i hope your state has quick results.

210 looks like a good number. i know the number does not mean anything but it looks good to me. :D good luck again.

Hello pddk87,

Keep your head up, you probably passed, and I am praying for you. You work so hard for it, so give yourself credit for that, I think you passed.

I do have a question for you, do you remember your last question?

All it means is that the computer did not decide pass or fail until the number you reached.

Anything after 75 means you're still in the game. The computer keeps you at 50% right/wrong and judges by the level of the questions you maintained at the 50% mark.

Because of this there's no way to know how you did. You can pass or fail at any number. Also there are test questions thrown in that don't count so that makes it even harder to predict.

I know it's hard to sit still but there's nothing to do but wait.

Best of luck to ya.

thanks mytone.. i hope i pass

hey all. Well heres my story... I took the exam this morning at 8am for the 3rd time! The first time I took it I had 75, 2nd 265, third and hopefully last time i had 75 again. The breakdown went something like this..10 or so infection control, about 7-10 select all that apply, surprisingly like 3 or 4 on DM, mabey 6 meds, 1 delegation and the rest priority (which one to see first, who to call back first).

This time I used the saunders book and did about 1000q's from the cd and also many q's from mosby, kaplan, lippincott, f-n-r and also random books form barnes and nobles. My god i feel relieved that the exam is over but still so unsure:bluecry1:... So Please people i ask of you all to pray with me /for me:bow:

the testing center was so obnoxiously loud. There was construction going on a floor up and at times i had to take a break becasue i was starting to loose focus. I am def going to call pearson and tell them abt this incident :uhoh3::uhoh3::bugeyes:ahhh.

anyhow, good luck for those of you waiting for results, for now i will join the group. thanks for listening. I will keep you all updated:typing

I totally understand I will know monday because my state has quick results. so far everyone in my class has passed. Mostly everyone has stopped at 75. I think only 3 have gone passed 75. Its 32 of us and 20 have taken it so far.

Hi there- I know some states have a website you can go to and verify licenses- you just look up the name and it'll say active and the license number if you passed. Where did you take the test? Maybe there is something like this for the board of nursing in your area.

Hi kababayan!

I took it last March 14 and got my results last March 29...I was asked 75 questions, much like you had!

And guess what, I passed it one-shot.

I'm living here in Alabama, US and I took the NCLEX-RN of California.

What state are you up?

Good luck and keep your fingers crossed.
