Took 265 Questions - NCLEX RN

Published

hi guys!

I just took my exam this morning and the computer gave me all 265 Questions!!! ??? I was crying when I got to 200 and my confidence was completely shattered! I had a bunch of priority questions and alternate type of Questions but I never really know if I got them right or wrong all I can remember was my last question was a SATA question?

Super depressed I got out of the exam room crying. Does anyone have input on getting 265 and passed?!?! please enlighten me.:(

I felt the exact same way. After getting to 180 I started to get frustrated that my exam kept going. I answered all 265 questions and left the exam room feeling like I failed. I felt so crappy about how many questions I felt uncertain about that I started to tell my family I failed, lol. I didn't feel confident AT ALL. But that's what the test does! Nobody really knows how they did. As long as you answered to the best of your ability you have to trust yourself. Even though I was almost certain I failed and i was depressed over it for days, I found out I passed! now that you've taken the exam, try to keep yourself occupied, have fun, surround yourself with good company so that the wait for your results isn't as long or torturous. 265 questions doesn't mean you failed for sure!

I also went up to 265...twice actually! First time I failed with 265 and second time I passed with 265. I thought that since I got 265 again that I failed again for sure...like every bone in my body and gut told me I failed. I didn't do the PVT and instead I started preparing to study again and researching resources/reviews. Then 2 days later I got my results expecting my CPR but along the lines of results it said: PASS! So just wait it out (I know easier said than done) and use that time to relax because pass or fail you deserve it. Good luck and I hope to hear good news! :)

Oh also from what I know as a fact.. the last question doesn't determine if you pass or fail if you get SATA or not.

You can pass or fail at 75 and pass or fail at 265. And anything goes in between too

Thank you!!! I did my very best :( I am trying to relax tonight while I wait it out even if I am 100% that I did not quite make it.

I agree my friend got a lot of SATA at 75 but she failed.

Hi Katrn2324.

I also failed last december 2. Are you going to take the exam again early next year? I can be your study buddy to be motivated to do best and explain things that is complicated to you if I know it.

Hi Guys! wow it has been months since I opened my account here. Just to let you all know. I passed the second time. I took it last week.:) Finally RN!!! This time it went easy. I only had 100 questions and I felt good when I stepped out of the room. I must have been more prepared. Anyway, Goodluck to all of yah!
