Hello everyone took my nclex-pn yesterday, I felt like I was doing fine, it shut off on me after 120 questions I almost melted in my seat. I've never had it cut off on me before this was my 4th attempt. I'm to scared to check PVT so I will wait and update you guys when my results come in:scrying:
hi scrub smurf...i did mine 4hr, 12hr, 24hr, 48hr, and if im not mistaken i also did the pvt, thursday the same week of my test (i took the test mon), and it still gave me the good pop up. I never read that people fail after they receive good pop up (maybe i missed that post). But i heard some people got the bad pop up, had to pay, and found out later on that they actually pass. And the money ($200) it's non-refundable. But i never said the PVT is fool-proof...because it's only a trick. I only said that the PVT works for me. I read that u r not suppose do the pvt right after the test, but i dunno. And that's why i checked mine 4hr post test. :)
Hi Masdeb. That's the thing about the PVT..it is a trick. So you're right about it not being fool-proof. It's nice to know that it worked out well for you and for others, but I personally would not depend on it. I forgot the title of that post where I read that the person did it, followed instruction right to the dot, and mentioned failing anyway. There's also the issue of when exactly to do the PVT, and even one's location/state. Anyway, congratulations to you and enjoy your new career! :)
Hi...if u ask the pearson people they would not encourage it...i have 7 of my friends use the pvt, everybody got the good pop up, and everybody received the passing letter from bvnpt. I used my active credit card but i changed the expiration date. All 7 of us are taking nclex pn here in ca. And btw u cant check the breeze website if u haven't pay the $150 after u received your passing letter. Where did u take your nclex cjman24? I took mine @ontario. i hope u pass
I took mine at Redlands, CA on August 22 @ 1pm..It shut me off at 85 questions, like on my first try and now I am anxiously and patiently waiting.. Agh
the PVT works as soon as you get the email from pearson after taking the exam saying they acknowledged you taking it. I did it 1 hour after the exam, the day after, and then the day after, and all times it said I was already registered. when I got my unofficial pearson notice, I passed.
What state are you in ?? I did it n go the good pop up ,I'm scared
I am from California. I did the pvt and got denied card or something, basically the bad pop up is what they call and so far, nothing in the mail. It has been almost 3 weeks. I guess the agonizing wait continues. No quick results for us NCLEX PN takers. The RN's have quick results if they pay and is available after 48 hours, if im not mistaken..So yup..
