I took my NCLEX-RN yesterday and believe it or not; it stopped at 264; have you ever heard of that number? /QUOTE]Yes, I've heard of every number :)
Are you kiddin' me? Wait! The number of questions you had is zero indication of whether or not you passed. If you answered enough questions at a high enough level (passing standard), you passed. If not, then...no. But that's nothing you're going to know by the number.I have a feeling a failed it; do you guys think I should start studying again for my next time or should I wait for the official results to arrive? My State isn't on quick result so I'll have to wait 2 weeks to find out. It's so cruel of them because yesterday I spoke to a lady at the BON and she told me they already had my results (on the same day I took it) but that she couldn't tell me over the phone and that they were mailing it to me within 10 business days.I think people who are not allowed to give out results should just state clearly "I CAN TELL YOU NOTHING ONE WAY OR THE OTHER" and hang up. Would be so much easier than having everyone try to interpret each syllable's nuance, no? :)
I just know that I failed it; I think the computer was undecided but at 264 it decided that I wasn't doing good enough and shot down.Well....yes. It has to have enough data to show you staying at or above the passing standard to at least a 95% certainty. It might have enough data on you to determine that at question 78, 104, 245, or 264. Or any other number before or aft.
Hang tight....don't assume anything about this dratted test. People who thought they passed easily failed. People who spent days crying and puking found out they passed. It's a head trip, but it'll be over soon (ok, not soon enough, but it's getting there).
hello, i recently took my nclex-rn exam on wed-aug.9th. i'm totally nervous waiting for my results! since i live in CA, we don't have the option for quick results. and i wish we can just call and ask if we passed, or not! it's complete torture having to wait for these results.
does anyone know how often they update their website? it seems as if i have become obsessive compulsive, checking the website every other hour to see if my name is posted. but, i know that it is more than likely it will not be posted. but, i guess i'm just hoping and wanting and wishing. because i know some people who have taken the exam, and they passed, and their names were posted within 2 days.
I took nclex with 265 questions and failed. =( I am in a depression stage. THere were so many peds question and that was my week topic. I used Kaplan along with the ncsbn and still failed while all my other friends pass and did not even study as much as I did. I heard that it depends on your luck. Some may just get infection control only which I think is pretty basic. I don't know what to do. I am using Saunders at the moment. Its hard to tell if the questions are easy cuz I think all the questions were tough. Pls help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if I have the strength to do this again; it was a nightmare :-)
