Took the NCLEX today...i feel like i failed!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Just took the NCLEX this morning. I'm so nervous because I think I failed. I had 75 questions a TON is SATA, some infection control, 2 med questions and the rest seems like a blur. When it shut off I felt like I wanted to do more questions so I can prove myself some more. I'm so nervous and am too chicken to do the Pearson trick. :( encouragement would be great right now

I took the test today and the VUE trick seemed to indicate I passed in 75 questions. I also got a lot of SATA and priority questions.

I was a bit worried since my terrible study habits that made me fail the HESI comprehensive the first time reared its ugly head: Blow off studying until a few days before the date, start cramming including the night before and day of, and jump straight into reading rationales instead of actually doing questions (went through the entire Med-Surg Success book during those few days).

But compared to the HESI which nearly killed me, the NCLEX was a breath of fresh air. You'd be surprised at how much you know and retain from nursing school and combined with the test-taking strategies that took me until near graduation to learn (which also helped me pass the HESI the 2nd time in order to graduate), you should do fine.
