took nclex 7/29/13

Phew! Just finished taking NCLEX RN. Finished at 170 something questions. When the computer stopprd I was in shock. Walked to my car, still in shock. I had no idea how I did through out the test. Usually people say they can tell when they're doing bad etc, but I felt like my questions stayed the same difficulty level throughout the test, which worried me a lot. I was preparing to go to 265. I felt very comfortable taking the test, I was familiar with a lot of the questions (thanks to kaplan and hurst). Lots of conference questions and alternative type questions. I'm so relieved it's over with though. I couldn't help but try the pvt, and so far have the good pop up. Crossing my fingers that I see my name on ca bon site. Thank you all for the support, tips and reassurance! time to relax

Did you do the Qreviews yet? They say if you average 84 there's a good chance you will pass. I averaged 83.8, lol just a shy away.

After the exam, if you felt dumb or as if you failed or the questions were hard. There's a good chance you passed Lol. Coz I read most people who passed felt like they failed it. Still got 12 hours left before I can access the Quick Results and maaaannnnn I'm anxious.

To: IamApril.....so Lacharity helped you a lot ?

Yes definitely! Prioritization and delegation I think are higher level questions because that is what you encounter the most in the hospital (in my work at least).

No I focused mostly on Kaplan for questions and lacharity. I have hurst for viedos...I didn't do the tests.

Yeah....you passed....if I were I would celebrate lol. Omg if I pass on Monday....I think I would cry lol. Studying for this test is exhausting!!!!!!!

Just keep on answering questions, at this point your knowledge is probably enough. I noticed that the exam really targets your critical thinking skills.

well hoping for the best....I will see Monday.

You look good to go! As long as you can critically think through questions, you'll be fine(:

And I did la charity as well, my scores ranged from 37% to 81%

Thanx guys.....I hope that I will be an RN soon like you guys...lol. You know something I kinda can't wait to get it out of the way.

Is the PVT accurate? Has anyone gotten the good pop up and then failed?

Ok, so I just found out that I passed (I think) and didn't have to wait for the Quick Results. Here in IL we submit our application to CTS, a while ago I checked my status just for the heck of it, I entered my SSN, Last name and date of birth then voila! It said in the bottom

Exam: NCLEX

Date taken:

Grade: Pass

Who else knows about this way of finding out? Coz I know in other states it just shows up in the BON website but I never heard of people finding out this way
