It was the most awful experience of my life. I felt like a complete idiot walking out. I didn't sleep last night I was so nervous and I have a cold so I'm in a fog. I was top of my class all throughout school and got high scores on all my ATI predictors... but I don't know.

It turned off at 75 questions... and I got the "good" pop up from Pearson Vue... but I thought it was terrible.... does anyone have any advice or experience with this?

Thank you, I hope so. Is the Pearson trick always accurate? Is it normal to feel like I bombed it?

I felt exactly the same way. I left in tears after it shut off at 75 questions. I thought it was awful. A couple days later, my license number showed up on the board website. Lots of us have that experience!

I definitely felt the same you did! I left the testing center and cried In the parking lot, thinking I failed it. Apparently I heard that feeling like you bombed is pretty accurate since we miss roughly 50% of the questions (which was NOT a reassuring thought!). But the Pearson Vue trick worked for me. Haven't had any one I know where the trick didn't work for them. :)

Congrats katie225. Im studying now and i feel so lost. What did you do to study? I just feel overwhelmed.

Congrats!!!!! What did you use to study? I take mine in a few days! Anyone have some tips? I did all of Kaplan. Reviewed content .

if you think are good with your content and Kaplan. Then by all means, try and take the exam, while the information is still fresh in your mind. But continue to practice questions everyday.

Hello all,

SO, I took my test Oct 5, 2012 and within an hour I tried the Pearson Trick and it directed me to the Credit Card info page, which means I didn't pass. I PAID the $7.95 for quick results through Pearson, which was made available Sunday morning, just to be sure and as much as it pains me to say, the TRICK IS TRUE. I couldn't find many people who failed who would admit this online, but for all of you who get directed to the credit card page,

A. Don't put your info in, b/c you will lose that money and B. It is okay, just take it again...sadly we have to wait 45 days. I took 5 hours and 265 questions. I'm a bad test taker, but was so prepared, I thought. I knew the info, but just not how to answer in a way the NCLEX test liked...straight A's through a hellish, yet prestigious 15 month program and I failed. It doesn't mean I won't be a good nurse...nor does it mean that for any of you who didn't pass. Good luck and a big congrats to all of you who did pass! Cheers

Don't cram the night before. Everyone I know who did Kaplan passed. I guess just try and apply their strategies. I only bought the Kaplan book and sadly I failed, but I'm a bad test taker. I also know plenty of people who did all 265 questions and still passed. Make sure you take breaks. Bring a snack or two and just do practice questions. Goodluck

Hi, I did kaplan and I passed. At first I was skeptical because not only it was expensive, I felt like all of it was just expensive practice questions. However I stayed and did all of it, and it does work!!! It helped me tackle questions. You don't have to know what they're asking sometimes, as long as you use the strategies and it will lead you to the answer.

On the test day, schedule the time you are at your strongest. If you are a morning person, take the test in the morning. I took my test after lunch so I could eat lunch before going to the test center, so my brain was fueled up. Plus you can eat little sweets when you take a break.
