I've been calling up schools and not one gives a ballpark or even just an estimate to how much. I can't just start the program without knowing details.. If you guys know or went to some RN-BSN program please let me know some infos. I'm looking into TX and New Mexico and maybe Lousiana.

Oh im so sorry to hear that. Nclex is such a emotional test for me. It makes us go crazy and scared and nervous! My tip for you is to keep practicing questions...How was your questions in KAPLAN? are they above 60s? because that's the good indicator that you pass even though you did everything in kaplan, if your scores are less than 50s==its really not going to work.. relax, don't think about that test for couple of days. Then start working again. Read saunders (your weakest areas). My weakest were GI and Musculoskeletal. so I skimmed through them and made notes etc. etc. this too shall pass... xoxo VNICKOR.

hi, when i took the nclex my average was 55 and i was scared that I will not pass, however I did. I say don't focus too much on your scores (i did). Focus on answering questions and really getting the gist in answering questions. TRAIN your mind doing questions everyday and read the rationales. Use PDA by lacharity if you haven't yet. it is very helpful. xoxo vnickor

my tip is for you to just practice questions and learn your lab values and normal vitals. Plus do you have PDA by lachrity? if yes, keep going over that because NCLEX is a lot of priority. Also learn your math because you just don't know what or if they will give you a math question.

Hi, I did kaplan and I passed. At first I was skeptical because not only it was expensive, I felt like all of it was just expensive practice questions. However I stayed and did all of it, and it does work!!! It helped me tackle questions. You don't have to know what they're asking sometimes, as long as you use the strategies and it will lead you to the answer. On the test day, schedule the time you are at your strongest. If you are a morning person, take the test in the morning. I took my test after lunch so I could eat lunch before going to the test center, so my brain was fueled up. Plus you can eat little sweets when you take a break.

if you think are good with your content and Kaplan. Then by all means, try and take the exam, while the information is still fresh in your mind. But continue to practice questions everyday. xoxo VNICKOR

Awww congrats! I remember when I was about to check my result. My heart was just about to pop out and explode out of my chest!!! It was such a nerve wracking experience. when I saw the pass, I jumped for joy I think the neighbors heard me!!! heheheh I really believe in prayers and keeping God in our lives everyday. Hi, I would continue studying Kaplan if you can. It's really amazing. Plus buy the PDA by lacharity. I think these two combined are very powerful to pass NCLEX.. xoxo VNICKOR

I like Kaplan's qbank though. It may not be super similar to NCLEX but it did train my mind so much. xoxo VNICKOR

I honestly didn't use Lippincott, people have different preferences for study materials. I prefer Kaplan qbank and PDA, I think these books is what really helped me pass. They are harder than saunders, but that means your brain is working hard and can take any question that the nclex may give you... xoxo VNICKOR

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that dear. I know NCLEX is very random. Everyone gets different questions and the computer just throws random questions, and I read somewhere... A person passing with 75 questions has different percentage/different weight as another person who passed in a 75 question test too. So it is all a mystery how NCLEX works. What you can do is just study and do more questions.. That's the best tip...there's no shortcut, but this too shall pass. xoxo VNICKOR
