I also took the NCLEX-RN today with no math calc... although there was a lot of pharm questions!! I've been praying so hard as well!! That's all we can do for now though... it's so hard not to feel like I failed it...

For those of you who took the exam, I wish you the best of luck. It's wonderful you guys had no math calculations. I took mine a few months ago (failed) with 3 math calc. However, I was appalled when the math I received was unfamiliar to me. Shocked me a little, but I did what I could. But yeah, so glad you guys didn't get any math.
I don't think it's weird that you guys didn't get any math calc. Maybe the computer was more interested in testing your abilities on other alternative questions.:typing

From what I have heard, the less math calculations you have the better it is, so I think that not having any math calculations is a really good sign.

i took the nclex today also... no meds calculations but a ton of pharm.. i swear i never even seen some of the drugs before. a ton of priority, and infection control...and only 1 or 2 SATA shut off at 180 and i have been crying ever since... in total disbelief....

SATA is just a style/type of question that has no bearing on level of difficulty. Just as many pass/fail with lots or very few SATA questions. Also the number of questions you get does not reflect whether or not you passed/failed. All you can do is believe in yourself and know that you graduated from nursing school which is no easy thing. So you are smart and you know the stuff. This is just a test, you took lots of them in school. Think of it as a final exam. The best thing is to try to relax and do something nice for yourself. Good luck and hang in there. Keep us posted.

I am not sure one can judge they test by the type of questions they have. I took the nclex-rn on Monday. I had 2 math questions a few SATA. The computer shut off at 75 questions and I found out the next day that I passed. Keep your chin up, we all think that we failed after we took it.

I had no math calculations, and passed. I think its a good sign because math calc are considered lower level quest.

--> we almost have the same situation.. total disbelief.. ^_^ i had 265 questions. 4-5 sata, 2 calculations, tons and tons of unfamiliar meds, prioritization and infection control also, but what im worried most is that i had 4- 8 almost same type of question, i know that i answered wrong in the previous questions. and my last 10 questions was the easiest part, so now, i had this idea that i really didn't make it. but let's continue praying and hoping. :heartbeat
