Hi guys,
It's my turn to vent....I took the NCLEX today and the computer did shut off at 75 (which I had been praying for, I dont think I can stay focused with all 265)...I was quite comfortable with questions 1-30...but after that, I just prayed for every question coz I cant figure out what's the best answer...I don't know how I feel right now...it's a mixed feeling...happy that I've done it FINALLY!!! and also that I only got 75 q's... at the same time, very worried on the outcome...But I guess all i can do is wait for the results...on Friday....I hope all the hardwork will pay off....Thank you guys for your threads...i had been reading these threads which helped me stay calm and able to focus on my exam today...thank you for sharing your experiences....

I took mine last tuesday so it's been a week now... I still haven't gotten my result. It looks like you live in the same city as I do so don't be surprised if you have to wait a little bit longer. This waiting is killing me and I'm doubting on myself the longer I have to wait. Goodluck to you Marie.

Thank you Lori :) I try to tell myself that it's not over yet till I get the official result. It's now been 1 week and a day. I prayed to God that it doesn't matter how long I have to wait as long as he brings me good news :)

marieinla - same exact thing happened to me today - off at 75 - i feel good about it - but i don't want to feel to confident until i know
I feel the same way for you. I was confident after I took my test and actually was looking forward to that week to "see" my name on the california BON website. Now I'm doubting on myself as each day passes by...I dont know what I"m going to do if I failed it...that's gonna be 3 times already

I also took the nclex-rn last aug 15 and it's been two weeks now and I haven't gotten the results yet. The wait is really making me anxious! My test also shut down at about 75 questions. The questions were really hard and it seemed like no matter how many practice questions I answered it still didn't make the exam easy! I can't help but feel that I might have comitted so many mistakes that the computer had no difficulty assessing wether I passes or failed (well more of failed... I guess). I know everybody just wants to pass coz' they don't want to go through all those sleepless nights of studying again. But failure is not the end of the world for us soon to be RN's, I have friends who failed but still pursued and passed it the next time around. Besides, the test is really hard and failing it does not mean we don't deserve to be nurses! All we can do for now is wait and hope and pray for the best. Good luck to all who recently took the exam and are waiting for the results. It's nice that there's a way for us to vent out our feelings about the nclex coz' if there's anyone out there who could best understand our predicament, it's us nurses who could best relate to it.
