Took the NCLEX-RN today gotta really bad feeling in !

Published

Hey all, been lurking around here for some time. today i took my Nclex-rn for the first time after studying like crazy; Saunders, Kaplan classes, and many others. did well over 3k questions. I walked into Pearson in oakland california feeling great. I walked out feeling devastated. I had about 80-85 questions total. maybe 4-5 SATA questions and about 15 medication questions. The medications that i received for the most part looked like a foreign language. I thought my med knowledge was decent. I had all my ending covered "lol" "pril" "zole" "ine" "zine" etc etc..... ccb bb's ace, etc etc but the drugs they threw at me were crazy.......there were many cases where i would see the question and be relieved because i knew all there was to know about the topic: when i got to the answer choices my answers didnt exist... I am pretty sure i failed miserably but why 80-85 questions? why so many meds and SATA questions? it was like it was trying to take me down...lol........ the drive home was the longest drive i have made in a very long time.......

i meant not sure of ANY ANSWERS!

I took my NCLEX today and this is the pop-up i got. >>> The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time. Does this mean i passed ??????

hey, i took my nclex-rn yesterday (oct 12th) here in san jose, ca. the computer stopped at 75 and i was devastated. i got like 10 sata's, tons of infection control, prioritization, delegation and meds from another planet. seriously i felt i guessed most of the questions. i came home and tried the pearson vue trick in an hour and got this message ,'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.'. i am freaking out too but most of my classmates who have taken the test have tried this trick and they all passed. they got the exact same message as i got. i think you have passed too, so chillax !!!

Hi there! I took my NCLEX last Oct. 5 and I still have no clue on my results. They're prolonging my agony. I have 75Q, lots of meds, SATA. I tried the PVT but it only says my result is still on hold. I can't register. No clues, its killing me piece by piece!! helllpppp!:bluecry1:

I just took my NCLEX-RN, Oct 8, had 75 questions and passed. After the exam was over I felt like I knew 3 or 4 for sure that I got right. You are not alone in how you felt after the test. I got the results on the 9th. I looked on line at the board of nursing website and saw that my license had been activated. Wishing you the best.

hey u got ur result so fast ...which state ..?

Hello!!!! I was just browsing around, and found your story !!! It is inspiring to me and I am hoping that you pass your nclex coz you deserve it !!!!!

I am taking my nclex on Friday 16th oct and I am freaking out !!! I know I have to stay calm etc ... but ... Man !!!!! It's so hard.

So, Please pray for me ... I wanna go in there, stay calm, do my best, and pass !!!!

Once again, Good luck to you !!!!

I took my NCLEX-PN yesterday for the second time and it maxed out again at 205 questions, thank goodness my mom went with me I cried all the way home and I am still wanting to curl up in the fetal position, I am almost certain I failed again even after all the studying, why else would I get the 205 questions? I didn't know about the pvt the first time but I have logged on to pearson vue 15-20 times since noon and I am getting the pop up saying I can't register and to check with my board member...gosh I hope that pvt is accurate, I feel sick. I was wanting to get my RN eventually but I don't know if I can take any more of the NCLEX exams, I literally get sick as soon as I walk in the pearson vue building.

Timeto study,

As of now none of my classmates have failed, so i dont know. But there are a lot of students on this website who have tried the pearson Vue trick and it took them to the credit card page and they had really failed. From what i have read from so many threads that the PVT is 100%, so i am keeping my fingers crossed.

you and me both, i am glad all of your friend passed as well............ but i was hoping to find some validation that someone IN CALIFORNIA had actually recently seen the cc page....hopefully of course those people passed after that.....

As far as the pvt the fact that I keep getting the pop up saying were sorry our records indicate you have recently scheduled an exam please contact your board member makes me feel a little bit bitter, the worrisome part is that I had 205 questions, I don't know of a lot of PN's that passed with 205 questions.

I took nclex-rn in SoCal on Oct. 10th...had 75-77 questions...not sure cuz I wasn't looking at the number and then it shut off. Such frustration. Meds from Mars...about 10 SATA. That exam was a torturous rollercoaster..."oh, I know this" next screen..."OMG!!" Freezing up as I looked at a new question and didn't have any idea. I suppose I should do the PVT but I'm scared that I might get to the credit card page...so I keep checking the CA BRN website...which makes no sense because with all of the business days they've been closed since last Friday I shouldn't expect to see 10/10 results for at least a few more days. And CA BRN will be closed again this Friday...another furlough day.

Good luck to all of us! May the wait be over soon.
