  1. wow thats decent.. congrads :0) what hospital are you heading to in NJ?
  2. Tiffy, first let me say...... being a new grad sucks...haha. read the article;pretty interesting stuff. I am going to look into the area because i need a job that bad. I'm currently in calif. but hey ! looks like theres nowhere to live and people are living in makeshift housing due to the population boom... Maybe they will let me sleep in the hospital basement...lol... if so. ill take it ! its sadens me however that I even have to mention this but i do have concerns about being a minority in that part of north dakota. I checked the demographics of the area and there is less than 1% of my race in the area. does anyone know the area fairly well? I sometimes forget that racism can still exist living my entire life in california but there have been a few times that i had to acknowledge it first hand when traveling out of state.. Sighhhh as if its not already hard enough to find a job.... Im gonna give it the old nursing try regardless but any info would be great ! :)
  3. already tried to google the phrase but have never heard of the aftercollege option. I am on it. Thanks for the tips :)
  4. I would definitely consider working out of state. what in your opinion is the best way to go about finding/applying to out of state new grad programs? thanks so much for taking the time :)
  5. The only way is to find a job in the next few months
  6. same boat here. graduated yrs ago passed the ca-nclex in 2009 have attempted to find a job in northern california with no sucess... I have my ACLS BLS AND PALS but still no job.. can tell im getting rusty and would like to find a refresher course in Sf bay area. Im in San jose..... any suggestions?
  7. Ntyeshade, Sorry to jump in on the thread but i wanted to ask; I too am a new grad licensed with no experience that cannot seem to find a job in my area (California). I noticed your reply in reference to having to move to get some new grad experience and i would be more than willing to relocate. would really appreciate any information you have on areas that might still be hiring new grads in this horrible ecomomy??? thank you so much in advance Charles
  8. Timmy don't mean to be mean or nasty. I have went over literally thousands of posts on here and contacted dozens to get feedback on this pvt trick. I have been able to find two cases where a person got the good pop and still failed. Out of thousands. One who later realized he entered the wrong info. I am sorry if u did not pass. The test is brutal. But u will next time man.
  9. Ok let me rephrase; the popup works for 99% of those whom if properly attempted get a correct response. Take the time and do some research and come to ur own conclusion. If u are a numbers person then u will come to the same conclusion. Just like properly used birth control, you can't get 100% on the label because accidents happen T2S
  10. Trick does work in CA. I TOOK IT LAST WEEK IN CA with four others. All who passd got the good popup the one who failed got the credit card page. There are two people out of about 4000 on here that say it does not work. A person named silverdragon and one other. BOTTOM LINE IF YOU GOT THE GOOD POPUP, YOU PASSED.
  11. well dont know what your speaking of but as of oct 12th 2009, the trick still works 100% confirmed
  12. Nope, you are an RN now.... congrads to you... wooo woooo:yeah:
  13. i Can tell you this much... the only thing that helped me (after kaplan class, saunders questions, dr karrenbergs 5 day content class and flashcards) was this: on each question i went over while studying for the nclex, I did not try to figure out the one correct answer but why each of the other 3 question could not be correct.... I would take to the time to break down each wrong answer which would in turn force me to learn about other content areas as well.... I would have surely failed had I done otherwise... the best of luck to you .....
