Hey Guys!!
Well I took my NCLEX RN exam for the 3rd time today!!! Im really hoping its my last. I wasn't nervous because I felt really prepared. I felt like I got a ton of priority questions and teaching.... It was very overwhelming!! At one point I wanted to cry, but I held it together and kept telling myself it would be over sooner or later!! Once I passed 75 I knew I was in for the long haul and would be answering all 265.
I was toward the end when I realized that I had NO medication calculations.... What does that mean?? I always have gotten caluclations in the past- anyone else ever had this happen to them?? Let me know!! Thanks!!
Hello-
I used a wide variety of books/ review programs. The most helpful in my option was Kaplan workbook called Strategies for the NCLEX RN- Very helpful and easy fast read. It gave me a lot of practice with priority. I also did the NCSBN program and retook the Kaplan class - for the 2nd time. I spent a lot of money this time!! But at least it all paid off. I do have the book that is used for Suzannes Plan but in my opinon I think that Saunders questions are too easy and not near as helpful as Kaplans. Good Luck!!
Can anyone give me any tips on how to master the calculations. I am in an NClex class at school and we have to do questions each week and I find myself getting the math problems wrong every time on the NClex 4000 but in class on other test I get all my math right. What could this be? I need some pointers cause I'm paranoid now if I get some on the NClex for real. Unless I get like others and not have them.

Welcome to the forum and site
You can still pass and it sounds like you feel the same as most people do when they finish this exam. It is over and done with now so best thing to do and I know it isn't easy is to try and relax and hang in there whilst you wait for your results
Good luck
Thanks Silverdragon102 for the encouraging words. I just dont know what to think anymore. Does having a lot of SATA will increase the chance of passing. The question is just so different from the practice test, I used SAUNDERS and NCLEX 4000. I even used MOSBY,LIPPINCOTT and NSNA.. I answered 200-300 practice question everyday for the last 6 weeks.. I am so scared !!!!!

Good job!!
What books did you use? Did you followed Suzanne's plan?
I am using Kaplan and "Cracking the NCLEX".
Thank you,
