Took NCLEX-RN july 22 in CA...the BRN office was closed 7/24. Are results delayed?

I took my NCLEX-RN on wednesday, july 22, and although the CA-BRN website last updated its records on 7/24, my name is not there yet so I am very worried. All of my friends received news on the 3rd business day earlier this month. I called the office and they said the office has been closed every friday starting with the second friday this month. Does this delay the results even further as well? I keep hearing the 3-10 day average wait to see your name on the permanent license verification page...but i'm so scared that i failed at 75 questions!! Help!

Got my result after 16 days too. Nope, did not pass. You know what's interesting though, I thought I did well with psych, but that's where I failed and I was sure I did not do well with pharm, I got an above passing mark. Well, I should review harder next time. Thanks for your reply. Everybody just seemed so quite.:zzzzz

i took mine on the 10th and it's now the 18th =c i'm from CA too. i had the infamous pop-up saying "our records indicate.." this is what's keeping me together.

but the WAIT is torture!

i hope you don't mind my asking, but for those who failed, has anyone tried the pearson vue trick before getting their official results?

CA does not participate in the quick result view thru Pearsonvue. If there was nothing wrong or issues with your file, hope for the best but expect the worse. Got my result thru the mail after 16 agonizing days....

In very very rare instances, it could reach up to 16 days too before your name appears on the BRN website. This happened to my friend who was an LVN before he took the NCLEX-RN.:(

i also took the test on the 10th, still getting the pop-up and still no word. a friend of mine took hers on the 14th and got her results today! so frustrating, isn't it!! i haven't been able to sleep throughout the whole night since taking the test. so far on the pvt forum, those who went to the cc page failed and haven't seen anything on someone failing when getting the pop-up. i guess all we can do is wait. hopefully we'll receive word soon and we can congratulate each other =)

i took my nclex-rn of the ca board on 25th of aug.im an international student.ive been checkin everyday,its been a week now..i hav not seen my name..my test stopped at 75 q..the wait is killin me:crying2:..is the pearson trick true..coz the first tym my sis did it said my results on hold...bt today wen i tried it went directly to the credit info..im worried:crying2::crying2::crying2:

Same here Aamem, I am also an International grad and took NCLEX-RN on the 24th and still waiting for the results 'til now. I tried the PVT and it made me go through the credit card info. :( I am just tired of waiting and checking everyday. Keep me updated with your results. Goodluck to us! :nurse:

hi! im an international grad too but i took my nclex here in CA on tuesday of this week. 09/28/10. i kept checking my name on the BOn but sadly it's not there YET, im really scared just like you. and i also stopped at 75. is there any chance our results are delayed just because we graduated out of state/country? im desperately trying to justify the agonizing wait for the results. :(:(:(:(
