Took NCLEX-RN july 22 in CA...the BRN office was closed 7/24. Are results delayed?

I took my NCLEX-RN on wednesday, july 22, and although the CA-BRN website last updated its records on 7/24, my name is not there yet so I am very worried. All of my friends received news on the 3rd business day earlier this month. I called the office and they said the office has been closed every friday starting with the second friday this month. Does this delay the results even further as well? I keep hearing the 3-10 day average wait to see your name on the permanent license verification page...but i'm so scared that i failed at 75 questions!! Help!

Welcome, If the office is closed then there will be a delay. Your results are viewed by a person before submitted onto the website. Don't give up yet and Good luck

thanks so much for the advice and the warm welcome. i almost had a panic attack this morning...i even vomited; i was so anxious because my name wasn't on there! I guess i'll just have to keep waiting. do u know if they update the website over the weekend?

If anyone else took their test in CA on july 22 and have the same problem as me, please let me know!!!

I took the test on Thursday 23rd, and my name is still not up on the list of CA-BRN. I tried the Pearson vue trick and I got the pop-up stating i've recently taken the NCLEX test. Hopefully there's a delay in processing.. i wouldn't wana go through that experience again.

I took my test on Wed. July 22nd, and I still haven't received anything in the mail yet. The computer stopped at 75 questions. I don't know if I passed or not. It has been more than a week now and I check the CA-BRN website everyday and my name is not on the website. Does this mean that I failed:bluecry1:.

My friend took the NCLEX this Monday and already saw his name on the website. I just don't know. This is the longest wait ever and it is killing me from the inside. :crying2:

doesn't mean you failed, there could be an issue with your file

Actually, I called Boards today (July 31, '09) and they told me that they were not closed. I took my NCLEX-RN on July 24th( friday) and when I called Boards today, the lady told me that my results was pending. So try not to panic. Most likely, either the testing center or the boards are delayed. Just sucks that Ca does not participate in the Quick Result program.

I TOOK ON JULY 15 AND I JUST CALLED RN CA BON FEW MINUTES AGO. SHE SAID "THE RESULT WAS NOT MAIL YET" .

I took the boards July 25, until today Aug.1 no result..has anyone from July 25 nclex got their results already from california?thanks..

I took mine on July 7 and im still waiting for my result... I've been waiting for 4 agonizing weeks already... they said that results usually arrived between 4-6 weeks...

i sympathize with all the nurses waiting for the result specially from cali.did anyone tried the famous "pearsonvue trick" from here?i think we should all rely on the final result,we are all feeling the same way while waiting for the result..hang in there and just keep praying..we will get it at the end..:up::nurse: i took the july 25 exam..no news whatsoever..

I took my test on July 22. I called the BRN on Friday and they said they haven't mailed anything out yet. My name still doesn't show up on the BRN website. Has anyone received anything in the mail???:confused:
