took nclex pn

Published

okay so I just took my nclex yesterday this is my 6th time. Im so anxious to get my results I began at 1:30 and my computer shut off at 5:20. I got 178 questions. I thought the computer was going to give me the whole 205. I was never given so many questions before. My computer usually shut off at 85-119. Im so scared I know I am a nurse, I claim victory, i can feel it. I got 1 math questions, 13 select all that apply, 4 diagrams and 2 order response. I feel liked i got most of the hot spots cprrect. I want the computer to pass me this is so nerve racking. I been out of school for 2 years and I just want my license so that I could start my career. Im scared to do the pvt because of my prior experience. I have faith in god and myself and I know he was with me when I took the exam. I just want my license number to pop up on the state board of nursing. Ahh what to do.

I took my nclex and failed it..I'm thinking that I'll be able to schedule it again for sept ..I just downloaded the study guide..hope it helps?!!!

When u go through the study guide, make notecards of all the keypoints. Especially the ones in color. I studied this mostly the 2nd time I had to test and passed. All your hard work will pay off in the end. Best of luck to u. :)

Good Evening Y'all! I just wanted to say that was so thoughtful and kind of you latyLPN ! I'm scheduled to take it and every day that goes by I'm feeling like I'm not ready! I have the Saunders Comprehensive 4 edition(green Book) but there's just too much info...I feel like I'm losing my mind every time I do questions from that book and the CD. I'm also doing KAPLAN! I like it but trying to aim for 60% or 65% on the q-bank questions is not hard easy. I don't know if you're familiar with it...its review class/online course that help you with NCLEX. It's just very disappointing! I began to question myself if I'm really ready for the exam. Did that happen to you? Ohh, also when do you know you're ready to take the exam?

Your welcome!!!!! I actually found that study guide on this site when I was stressing ova taking my NCLEX for the 2nd time. Don't overwhelm yourself with all the info. You'll burn yourself out the way. I went through da Saunders and studied a chapter over a few days. Focusing on the boxes for the keypoints. Then I made notecards from the study guide. I honestly cut back on doing questions everyday. I just seemed to have a huge headache afterwards. Lol. Trust me, u will know when u are ready. Best of luck to u!!!! :)
