Took NCLEX PN Aug. 30th.....85 quest.

Hello fellow NCLEX takers. I sat for my boards yesterday at noon. The comp cut off at 85 !!! I was in such a daze the hole test. I seriously feel like I only knew 10 answers and the rest I guessed. I got 4-5 SATA, LOTS of rooming in, infecton control, pharm...but no math, and data collection quest. I left the testing center in SHOCK !!! I think im still in shock....I keep going over and over quest. in my head and its driving me crazy. Im from Cali and unfortunately I wont be able to receive my results until 30-45 days :0( via mail. My gutt is telling me that I failed cuz I noticed my quest. kept going back to rooming in and infect. control. Grrr...........................

Kerryberry I really hope and pray you passed!!! I took my nclex monday at 2:00pm and I found out I passed today (im from NY) And all I have to say that test is brutal. I had 205 or maybe even 208 I can't remer when my comp shut off.. But after question 85 and my comp did not shut off my morale was totally down...the rest of the test was a blurr I kind of rushed because I though for sure I failed. . . I was pregnant the entire time I was in school I actually had my daughter May 6th and had to miss like 4 days of class!! I went back for a week and graduated May 16th..Super busy with a new infant so I didn't study at all all summer I finally got my authorization to test end of aug and scheduled my test for exactly one month later... Im back in school for r.n bachelors and its so hard and i have so much work to do so i really didnt study for the nclex until sunday the night before. I must of did like a gazillion question off of the saunders study book cd. So i went in thinkin Im going to fail I didn't study like I should have...My test had a ton of med questions I never heard of only like 4 sata (thank god) alot of religion questions weird?? a few legal questions A TON of prioritizing and alot of which patient needs more teaching!! I think you will be fine!! check this thing everyday to see if you passed!!! I cant wait to find out you did!!!!!!

This is my week 5 of waiting, I also live in cali. I took the LPN exam last Aug. 28th. Please keep me updated.:up:

Thank you for the uplifting words.....I guess Im on the defense and I dont want to get my hopes up. In my life thinks dont come the first time, it seems like I have to fail the first time to get it the second. I know its wrong to think this way but its hard cuz thats just how things tend to go in my life. I also have to remember that God is in Control of all things. I have to be reminded of that EVERYDAY so Thank you ! I will let you know as soon as I get my results...hopefully tomorrow :D

Today is my third week in waiting. I am from CA and it is just brutal with all the waiting. I was thinking about the test last Tuesday and in an instant I felt so sick in my stomach, I was so sick that I started throwing up. :cry: Please do pray for me and all those who took their tests.

I think we took the test on the same week and our tests were very similar. Prayers are our only weapon right now. Let's just keep on praying for one another. God is good! Like they say in the bible: No good thing will withhold to those who walk uprightly with the Lord! Something like that I'm not sure of the exact words. But anyway just keep in mind that prayers are powerful. And that we are all here praying for one another! Hope we hear the good news soon!

Hi tilapia, I tested aug 20th and i waited 5 weeks and 2 days, got my result last sept. 26 friday and it's unsuccesful, its feels like the world crush down on me. As of today,I'm studying again. hoping the next one will bethe last one. Goodluck to you!:crying2:

I am sorry to hear that. Just hold on to your dreams, and remember that this test does not tell anybody how a good nurse you will be some day. God bless! Will be praying for you. Hold your head high.

I think you posted that you took yours Sept 9th, is that right? You are very right, Prayers are our only weapon right now, and it is in God's graceful and merciful hands that we are to leave the results.

Also, I am so nervous, I am challenging this test through military experience and no school at all. Please do pray for everyone on this thread. I will be doing the same thing for all of you that are waiting for the results.

i got my results today after waiting just under 5 weeks. i went to the mail box and there it was..right there on top of the rest of the mail in a regular size envelope. i ran in the house and fell to my knee's and it read in bold has passed !!! god is sooo good....i want to say thank you to all of you that have kept me in your prayer. i truely believe iam here today living my dream because of god and i also believe that this is his will for my life. you all are in my prayers and remember.... do not to give up on your dreams.

I also had 85 questions on my exam. The computer just turned off the test and I was shocked and afraid, but to my amazement 2 days later the result were positive. I passed, thank God (prayed alot)
