I just took my NCLEX this afternoon. Oh boy! I got there 1/2 hour early and they got me right in to test. I remember looking at how many questions I had done....48. The next thing I know the computer shuts off and asks me to complete a survey. I'm guessing I had 75 questions, but I really have no clue.
I left not knowing how to feel. Like the original poster I had 8-10 SATA's, lots of priority, infection control in peds and adults alike, no math, lots of meds I hadn't even known (sheesh) and psych questions.
I too, tried the "trick." If so...Yahoo, but I can't be assured until I see my name on the BON.
Congrats to you!
I couldn't stand it anymore, I paid the $8 bucks for my quick results.
I am a Registered Nurse.:anpom::anpom::anpom::anpom::anpom:
hey cowgirl...i bet you're heat index in Oregon is much more comfortable today than our triple digits. I took my NCLEX with several Kansas testers. I live at the Top of Texas where the Texas, Okies and Kansanites come together.
Congrats....I think I had the same test as well...I had 75 questions...10 or more select all that apply, 10 or more meds, 1 drag and drop, lots of infection control, priority and delegation, very little psych and peds, and no math or OB....
I tested on the 7th, did the pearson trick that afternoon probably 2 hours after my test, and it went to the pop up...thursday my official results came up and I passed!!!
CONGRATS AGAIN

Hey lovinsickfolks! I too, paid the money to find out! I am an RN!!! Congratulations to you....to US!
Yes, I don't think that folks who are from around here know what a "heat index" is! Today has been an ugly day (weather concerned)...low 60's and rainy, but a happy day for me! Triple digits...I haven't forgotten. I feel for ya!

I started at 0835 and finished at 0945. Had 75 questions...8-10 SATA, Prioritization was the bulk of my questions, no math but several meds I wasn't super familiar with or their nursing implications, infection control of adult and pedi, a few psyche, more teaching than I expected, 1 women's health and 1 OB lab.
Just did the Pearson Vue Trick and I got the pop-up. What a great intervention for post-nclex syndrome. My thanks
to the "smart cookie-nurse" who figured that out. Doin an apprehensive "happy dance".
I used many of the NCLEX study resources other "AllNurses" members advised. Kaplan qbank and read rationales, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by LaCharity, Kaplan NCLEX-RN medications, LWW NCLEX-RN 250 New Format Questions, CDC website, last but not least...AllNurses student threads with posts containing NCLEX review content.
