Took NCLEx this morning...

There's no magic number. Don't stress. Some time after 75 and up to 265, the computer will shut off when it reaches a pass-fail decision. But the number itself doesn't tell you whether it was a pass or a fail. And good call on not posting test questions.

I took the NCLEx this morning...The computer stopped at 97! Such an odd number! I'm really worried though, a lot of people on this forum pass with 75, 105, 120, 265...But 97?!?! Wish me luck everyone! My last question asked me what was the most important directions to give a client with a diagnosis of X? (I dont think im aloud to post questions...) but after that it shut off! the last 6 or 7 questions before that had priority and immedietly in big bold letters! So i hope thats a good sign...Well, time to wait!

Don't worry about the number as long as you got some HARD questions right because I also had an odd number 76,BUT I found out FRIDAY that I PASSED!!

hello everyone,

Sorry, I never posted anything before, so I am not familiar with how to post? Anyways, i took the boards on the 28th, the computer shut down at 75. Today I called the board and the lady told me," the results has be sent out." But I dont see my name on the computer. Did I fail? OR maybe they are missing my transcripts etc. Please help, i rather know than waiting.

I took my boards on the 31st of March and had to take all of the questions(265) I bet I practiced taking 3000 questions and did well on all of them, but found out Friday that I failed. I feel defeated and really depressed. All of this school for one test and I cant passit the first time. I will try again in May hopefully with better results. Let me know if you have any tips on survial.

Hello ceedrn i am sad to hear that u didn't make it the first time. But don;t let that stop u of tryin AGAIn ok :idea: I Also did not pass the first time i take it, and yes its depressing.. But God helped me alot overcome and once again face NCLEX RN on MAy 3,2006. I really want to be a NURSE, and ther's no WAY i can be a nurse, IF i don't pass this test. AND I KNow GOD hear my prayer, I claiming my victory of passing NCLEX RN on MAy 3,2006. HE let me realized alot of things, and one of that is to trust on his power. I don;t know how u did during the test, but on my first time, i was really fast, i did not know if its more of anxiety thats attacks me,,,, BUT MAYBE YES~ :cool: that i couldnt even really understand the questions and just pick the answer and "NEXT" until it stopped....

SO after this day, just go out relax and breathe for while.. AND GO back being a strong determine person, THAT YES I CAN beat NCLEX.. and Gp back reviewing again.... I realized to just focus onto one review source, and that is SAunders... I am now finish with SAunder 3d ed cd, and am going to repeat again content by content.... It helps me alot being a foreign student..understanding the rationale with simple words, why it is right or why it is wrong?

KEEP asking God, and believe onto his power, never doubt, and It will be given..... HE will give u that day of VIctory.. BElieve me on that... HE will give u that day of Victory...

My advice:

1 answer as many practice questions as possible

2 relax when taking the test

3 have a strong drink or two AFTER you took the test to calm the nerves

I did seem to fly through the test now I have thought about that alot since then. I wish I would have slowed down, once my computer didnt shut of at 75 my anxiety went up. I knew that at that time. So I am going to see my dr on thursday to speak to him about it. I will keep praying as always. May the lord be with you on may 3rd. I will retest on May 15, 2006. I will be a nurse that day. I hope
