Hi All,
I took my NCLEX-RN in California Monday 6/25/07 and stopped at 75 questions. Anyone from California still waiting for your results? This is my second time taking the test and this worries me. It's now Thursday and my name is not on the BRN website. I feel I've failed it for a second time. Has anyone waitied longer than 3 days after stopping at 75q and still pass in CA????

The website wasn't updated until last night, 27th, and they're two days behind on results. So keep your hopes up. WE'LL make it!
-I took mine on the 27th, my second time around, and this time, took 265 questions. I pray that we both pass. That was the most horrible experience ever!
coachlvr,
I just realized I said I took my test on the 26th I actually took it on the 25th. I don't know what I was thinking... lack of sleep and emotionally drained I guess! I sure hope we make it! This wait is awful. I DON"T want to take it for a third time. Lets hope that we see our names tomorrow. Do you know if the average wait time right now in California is longer due to all the graduations from nursing school. I'm praying that maybe the BRN is behind because of so many test takers throughout the state!

The absolute earliest that anyone ever sees their results in CA is three days. The average waiting period is ten days. And with all of the new students that have graduated, expect things to be delayed in the processing. All files are reviewed by a human once they are complete, it is not done by a computer.
Just be patient. There is nothing else that you can do.

I also took my NCLEX in CA on the 26th it stopped at 75. I am so scared and it is absolute torture to have to wait so long for results. I hope there is more than one human working on getting us our results.

I took it on the 14th (96 questions) and didn't find out until the 27th that I had passed. That's what, 13 days?
congerats to you rn!:biere:
did you call the brn at any point to see if anything was wrong with your file? if so what did the people at the brn say to you? 13 days....i really feel for you! i think i would have given up on hope by that time! the wait is terrible but after hearing your story maybe i shouldn't panic so much if my name isn't on the website within the first week. hopefully they are just really behind!
Have you checked the CA BON website? It is now 4am 6/30, they just updated the site.....and guess what.......I passed! My prayers to all those waiting..... I know you will make it! :balloons:

I also took my NCLEX June 27th; already seeing people who took it on the same date show up on the rn.ca.gov website as of this morning. I left the test feeling like I had 100% failed at 75 questions; I am certain I got 20 right but I got atleast that many wrong, if not more, so I don't know what the odds are of passing if it stops at 75 vs continuing to ask questions up to 265.
When the test shut off I was devastated because I struggled to answer half of the last questions asked and wanted more questions to prove I'm not a total idiot. No med calcs, five or six pharm, one check all that apply, a LOT of 'what pt do you see first' and 'what do you do first given x situation' questions in both the hospital and in home health nursing. Also, some were troubleshooting various complications with OB, Endocrine disorders, and post-op on procedures I have never even heard of, they certainly weren't in the Saunders book, then a scattering of teaching, communication, immunizations, nutrition and what pts could room together. I had no alternate format questions. Either way, it was a terrible experience...so I am hoping they update the website more over the weekend (not likely) so I can begin studying to take it again.
I am close to their office in Sacramento, does anyone know if they will release your test results if you go to their office in person? Thanks in advance.
6/29--- i passed! :balloons:
