I have my HESI results and explanations right here. I took a series of them last week.
We were told to strive for 850 (that was approximately, in HESI's opinion, where if you were to take the NCLEX you would have a 94% chance of passing) a 900 score would bump that 94% to a 99% chance.
Their (HESI's) acceptable level is 850 and the recommended level is 900. So your score is 60 points over HESI's recommended level.
Good for you!
I hate to say it, but I didn't study. I had a hard last semester with 6 tests to include renal, MH, Peds., Maternity, Cardiac/Respiratry & Neuro and the next week we had the Hesi test. I studied like crazy for each one of those tests throughout the semester and did well. I used the Saunders CD for every test which helped. I can honestly say that the rationales that I read from the Saunders questions DID help me with the Hesi test! Good luck!

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and I just took HESI TODAY!..We were required to pass with a minimum of 870, i used the hesi CD and the Practest...i recommend using those because I saw about 5 or 6 questions that were word for word the same on HESI, i had to take hesi exam halfway through and i only scored a 773, so up until today I was pretty much in V-TACH!, needless to say i scored a 994! and i only got 60-70% on the HESI CDs and Practest, most of the questions are actually common sense, so don't think to much into the question, and I felt is was based primarily on fundamentals! good luck to everyone, im gonna go party now!!!

We took the Hesi Test yesterday for our graduating class. I scored a 960. I am not sure what that means. I do know that our teacher wanted us to originally score a 900 and at the least over 850, so I know that I did that, but I'd like to know where a 960 falls. Has anyone taken it?
Thanks!
