This is my first time on this site. I took NCLEX RN yesterday, it stopped at 265. I am really sacred, did anyone had 265 question and felt that it was easy and the questions were teaching base toward the end of the test and pass. I am going crazy here thinking of all the question that I know that I got wrong.
I orient new grads, and my newest orientee called me freaking out last week because she also took the full number of questions. When she tried to look up her pass/fail 2 days later, it gave her a number to call. She passed, but was told she was in a sample group of test takers who were selected to take the entire 265, and then take a survey about it. So I guess NCLEX is having some people take the full 265, without informing them if could be a possibility.BTW, they also told her how many she would have taken if she hadn't been in the sample group.....75
How frustrating!
THAT SUCKS! :angryfire
This information is outrageous. So NCLEX, in the pursuit of research, is experimenting on anxious nursing students to discover what ever they need to discover...outrageous.
this information was always speculation but i guess now it somewhat confirms the speculation.
Actually, the information is provided in the Pearson Vue NCLEX registration booklet. Most people don't read it though.
hi, i am a new member here, i had been viewing this site after i took my nclex last saturday. unitl now my name is not in the website yet....but i am happy for those who passed like you do.
please pray for me, i need to pass this because, this is my way of getting my 2 kids left in my country.
congratulations to you..... god is good!
I hope this will give encouragement to those who feel they've absolutely failed with 265 questions. I am living proof it is possible to pass the NCLEX with 265. When I started the exam, for the second time I might add, I really felt that I was careful enough and answered each question cautiously, because of my experience the first time, giving responses and choices that I thought were the best; well, to my knowledge. But then, question 76 appeared, and went on...and on... my heart sank, thinking that my responses would have been wrong if the computer decided to give me the full 265 questions. Almost six hours. My eyes were red, I didn't take any breaks. I wanted it to end, but the secret is, just answer each question as if it were the first. I went home wanting to cry. I did that night. I kept going through the questions in my mind, and of course, I focused on the ones I wasn't sure of, the ones I got wrong and totally discounted the ones I did get right. And fortunately, they were more. I was so depressed the next two days, checking my name in the CA BRN site. None. I prayed and prayed hard, cried to the Lord. Then on the third day, it was there! I'm a registered nurse in LA. So it is possible. Don't underestimate the power of prayers.
