I took AP2, and micro together, along with 2 other filler classes last semester and didn't have an issue -that being said, I still had to manage my time well to make sure I didn't get bogged down with busywork.
AP2 and Micro have some fun bits that tie in together, which helps build on reinforcement. You're going to have to have a strategy in place for studying though - be prepared to draw diagrams, use quizlet, record lectures if you must, or make plenty of notes if that's your jam. As the previous posters have said, it's a lot of work and you will be putting in about 60hrs of study time per week (ymmv here, it depends on how fast you grasp concepts); don't forget to reward yourself with small breaks, even if it means taking 30min to go to the gym. If you start getting really stuck on something, take a break and come back to it later. Be prepared to put in some serious hours; you'll rock it if you work for it :)
I took A&P I and micro together and looking back at it now, I know I could of done better and I wasn't even working. Taking two science classes is doable, but I would take patho last because it is pretty much a combined form of A&P II and micro and you would gain a better understanding. I would not rush taking all of these prerequisites because more than likely you might not get the grades that you want and good grades is what gets you into a good nursing program.

I completely agree. My school sort of forced my hand by only offering classes at certain times of the year, so I ended up taking A&P I and Micro together (plus two non-science courses). I ended up doing fairly well, but definitely not as well as I had hoped. Not to mention the stress that it caused. There's no way I would be combining A&P, Micro, AND Patho unless I absolutely had to.

This fall I am taking AP II, Micro, and Patho. I am not working, so I feel as though I will have the time and dedication to put into my classes. I am wanting to know is this wise? Has anyone ever taken these courses at the same time?
