Too much reading for Peds! Help!

I have almost 350 pp to read for peds alone this week! I have always been the type to read everything and my school tends to have pretty miniscule details on exams, but it takes me about an hour to read 10 pgs. How is this possible? What am I doing wrong? Is peds like this at your school? One week into the semester and I'm already burned out! (In contrast, for Med-surg 2 I have only 27 pgs yet it is 5 credits vs. 3 credits for peds). :crying2:

Hey! YES! our peds clinical is the SAME! Actually, reading your msg makes me think we're in the same class - lol.

I swear it's like they gave us a break with Maternity, and now they're putting us on the chopping block. I have an exam this week on the first 17 chapters of the book! ridiculous!!

and yes, it takes forever. you're lucky... 10 pages takes me about an hour and a half... and i'm the type that continuously does other things in the middle of my assignment to get through it all... so good luck to you, but you're not alone!
